Addressing Concerns about Piracy

Before I continue, this DLC was originally free, and it was the first free DLC for Spintires. If anyone is concerned and saying "Your not supposed to post that, its piracy", then you are incorrect. I am only doing this to allow others who want this DLC and making it available to everyone. Also, the developers are no longer talking about the topic anymore or responding to anyone, so I highly doubt they will mind.

1. Downloading files

Go to this link and download the files These are the original, unchanged, unaltered DLC zip file, with a size of 180 MB

2. Putting DLC files into the game

Open up the Spintires Folder, and just drop the zip file into your installation directory(local files)

3. Enjoy the Canyons DLC

Startup Spintires, and you should have all the maps and vehicles! It's just that simple

If you can find a download link or some how obtain the other zip files for the other DLCs, and then follow the same steps from this guide, you should be able to play the other DLCs (except from the China DLC)

Whatevers happening is something I have no clue on how to fix, and I've never heard this happen before. I'm assuming you're on the newest version of Spintires, and not the 2014 version. I'm also assuming that you dropped the entire ZIP file into the game's directory. I know sometimes, when modding, you should exit out of steam by clicking "exit" under the "Steam" button on the top left corner, so that Steam can update its information or whatever, but I have no clue if that would fix it, or if it even does anything at all.

Does not seem to appear here in menu. "Proving ground" still only map there. Did everything what was instructed on this guide.

From my knowledge, the China DLC is unable to be dragged and dropped in for some reason, I think to prevent piracy. I believe that is the only DLC that does this, but I have no clue on how to fix your issue. I tried asking other people but it seems theres no way around this issue. Sorry :(
