VCS Tethys (Civilian Model)

The Vatican City Shipyards have done it again, this time taking on the high-capacity hauling industry with the new VCS Tethys! The VCS Tethys is an industrial hydrogen tanker with additional cargo space to boot, designed for transporting fuel, ore, and uranium to support operations in low to null gravity areas. Featuring 2 large reactors, 2 small reactors, a fully pressurized interior with a medbay, cryopod, and direct access to the small reactors and jump drive, the Tethys can support a crew of 1 for extended journeys when properly supplied. To minimize the fuel usage during transit, the Tethys also comes equipped with its own gravity drive, the first of any VCS ship from this design firm. This model is intended for civilian use, and as such lacks any weapons or shields for easier access to those with Military Ordinance & Defense (MODs) permits. The Tethys is only available to customers who possess Design Leasing Contracts (DLCs), as structural requirements to allow for the construction of such a high-capacity vessel required technologies only obtainable to those with access to DLCs.
