Doitsu Electric Pickup

Howdy :D Ive spent quite a bit of time on this vehicle and am really happy to release it!

Doitsu is an AWD electric pickup and pretty much a test bed for some new features! Thanks to Lyam, it host new lua screens and lua headlights/brakelights/blinkers. The vehicle is themed after a Doitsu Koi fish and im really happy with how it turned out!

Before getting to the "included" area, id like to do a quick note on starting the vehicle. Unlike my other creations, this vehicle needs the key to the front right of the driver seat enabled for electric charge to be available to the engines.

This also enables for screens to be turned on.

As mentioned above, this vehicle is a bit more complex than my normal when it comes to features, mainly surrounding the lighting and dash. Before, most vehicles had simple paintable indicator lights and dials for the dash. Now, they are all done using LUA!

-Decorated dash using the Pony IDE and a custom paint overlay.
-Fully LUA headlights, brake lights, reverse lights, and blinkers. Inspired off of the Heritage Series EV, it has custom fade effects and overlays.
-AWD fully electric design using yoduki717's gen.
-Very simple controls.
-Trunk step inspired off the ford truck.
-LUA buttons for the trunk and hitch disconnect (Must have key turned on! Use the left rear brake light.)
-Brakes enable when not in the seat, keeps the vehicle from driving away.
-Working mirror cameras.
-Frunk


Huge credit to Lyam for assistance with LUA. Without them most of this wouldn't be possible at all with my skill level.

Also, big credits to Pony for their IDE and image-to-lua websites. Big helps for this!

Currently the only issue with this vehicle I am aware of is the mirror camera getting stuck in the hood, mainly from strong collisions. This can solve itself after a bit of driving, but dont be too rough please :)

The train in the photos is a heavy WIP! Featuring the same Koi paint scheme, its being made for a fast and simple way to transport items from the GOM cargo sets between islands.
