This guide is for the Super Secret Skins added with the October and December update, no Halloween-Christmas Challenge Skins or secret skins whose hints (...and achievements) can give an idea of their location, will be mentioned, but those skins of which nothing is known and which aren't even displayed until after unlocking.

Halloween Update Skins

Level "Shattering", not easy, on the far left, after opening an alternative passage, inside the shortcut, immediately after getting the magnet powerup, far above, there's a short ice tunnel with some pizza slices. Unlock "Icy Pizza" skin for the 4th plane.
Level "Softening", on the far right, you'll notice a small river detour hidden among the trees, creating a small cove with a speed powerup prominently displayed, just after a small patch of land you will see a pond with waterlilies, waterfall and axolotls.
Unlock "Axolotl Pond" skin for the 3rd plane.
Level "Yearning", on the far right, next to a volcanic lava flow, you can see the giant skull of a dragon, be careful if you fly too low you will not notice because the view is hidden by a thick stone arch. Unlock "Fiery Dragon" skin for the 7th plane.

Christmas Update Skins

Level "Daring", not easy, staying in the middle and flying low through the caves. You will encounter a giant one with a huge lake with a small central island, 5 waterfalls on either side, no cave ceiling and at the end a big chasm. The skin is located on the far left, in an elevated position, inside the cave hidden by two blocks of gray rock. The cave has 5 entrances, the leftmost one is the most direct way but also the most difficult one. Unlock "Turtle" skin for the 1st plane.
Level "Questioning", on the far left, when you see a rock wall completely covered with giant red flowers similar to the Hibiscus flower, which has a narrow opening in the middle, get into that canyon. Unlock "Ladybug" skin for the 2nd plane.
Level "Retreating", not easy due to poor visibility, on the far right, you will notice a path going up with a strip of blue-yellow crystals and several red mushrooms on the right in the background. At the top of that path, surrounded by trees and not far away a small lake, you will find yourself on a collision course with a tree, immediately swerve to the right and down, the skin is just behind this tree next to gray rocks in a position very close to the ground. Unlock "Fox" skin for the 3rd plane.
Level "Striving", on the far right, not easy to find if you fly low. As soon as you see one of the branches of the river split into two, a normal branch and a dead end with a mini ramp with red rocks around it, take the mini ramp and go up in altitude immediately and steer further to the right. Near there, just ahead, the skin is hidden by the false hill of land. Unlock "Frog" skin for the 4th plane.
Level "Shattering", staying in the middle, as soon as you see a small waterfall with a passage next to it that can be opened by the powerup, ignore the passage and go a little further following the small stream that the waterfall creates. You will find yourself in a low canyon, immediately on the right the river passes under a series of ice columns of a semi-open cave, the skin is between the columns. Unlock "Penguin" skin for the 5th plane.
Level "Giving", on the far left, you'll notice a small rock formation with a slight central cleft, a stone ring and a small red sapling. The skin is there under the stone ring. Unlock "Bee" skin for the 6th plane.
Level "Inspiring", on the far left, inside a large and wide rocky structure, you will see two parallel wind slides, take the horizontal one on the right, avoid the one on the left that goes up. After the wind slide, passed a small beach, on the left you will see a crown of sharp black rocks with the skin in the middle. Unlock "Manta Ray" skin for the 7th plane.
Level "Fighting", on the far left, as soon as you see a medium-sized puddle of water with a carnivorous plant at the end of it on the right, and a very small corridor cave on the left, go inside that narrow passage. Unlock "Parrot" skin for the 8th plane.

The bee is at "giving" level,far left,in a trench,you can choose the second plane which is easy to gain height ,you can easily see the shining spot hide in a ditch at the height of those stone arches

From what I know no skin can be unlocked in Zen Mode, but maybe I'm wrong, if an update has changed this, I don't know.
These are the Super Secret Skins, they always remain in the game, they aren't removed once the special event has expired. The expiring ones are the Challenge Skins and they can only be unlocked during the special challenge of halloween and christmas only in Challenge Mode, however I have just created a guide for those.
Then there are also 8 Normal Secret Skins but of those I will not create a guide because they have a preview text and a personal achievement each, which suggest help on their location.

great work,well done,
but the ladybug skin for the 2nd plane seems can only be found in story mod ,I tried multiple time in zen mod,but the part that hide the skin didn't show up,I later tried story mod and found it immediately
btw are those all the skins except holiday rewards can be found through secret location? is there any other skin won't even show up before you find them?
