This guide is like a walkthrough and can be considered as a complete solution for the new content introduced by the DLC 'Better Save Soul'. This guide will spoiler you a lot of information about the the achievements. So if you want to figure it out by yourself: DON'T USE THIS GUIDE!

I subdivid the achievements into sections. You`ll receive them chronologic and normaly you should only need small hints to get them. Between the therapy session you have to talk with Euric.

Four achievements are part of chapter 1:

Strange delivery
Someone had to become the first client of the Donkey Express.


A locked ghost from the past
How could someone not be crazy after all this time?


A habitable room
Not a 5-star suite, but it will do.


A lost stained glass window
It belongs in the church.


For the first achievement 'Strange delivery' you need a corpse from Donkey and you`ll receive two. You can interact with one of them. Than you have to do some small quests and after that Euric opens a new room. When he kicks a chest at the top, Smiler appears and unlocks 'A locked ghost from the past'. After that you must open the trapdoor and repair everything in the living room, so that 'A habitable room' unlocks. Last but no least 'A lost stained glass' will automatically unlock, after a short cutscene with Euric at the cathedral.

Chapter 2 includes two achievements:

Long-awaited appreciation
Fill the Bishop.. with pride.


The first session of curing therapy
Start Euric's treatment.


After you`ve talked with Euric, you have to talk with Vagner, who normaly should be at the 'Dead Horse'. If you have played the other DLCs, you have to contact him due the letter box at the cathedral. After that you have to talk to the Bishop and the next achievement is done. With the first embedded fragment you can start the first therapy session.

The next three achievements are part of chapter 3:

A controlled ignition
Fire is so mesmerizing - even moreso when there's a boiling Inquisitor involved.


A fortunate gift
Share the secrets of haute cuisine with the Merchant.


The second session of curing therapy
Continue Euric's treatment. He says he's feeling better. Probably.


Again you have to talk with Euric in his cellar and after that you have to talk to Clotho at here house in the swamp. She`ll give you some ashes for two honey and you also need a soul fragment in your inventory while talking to the Inquisitor. So the first achievement is done. She also gives you a recipe for a sauce which can be crafted at the workbench at the church (cellar). All you need are eggs, seamed oil and salt. With a soul fragment you can now talk to the merchant and unlock the second achievement. With the two embedded fragments start the second theary session and unlock the third achievement of this chapter.

Chapter 4 has four achievements:

Endless sadness
Practice makes perfect! Even if it's the sadness of the Astrologer.


The birth of passion
Witness an embarrassingly hot scene.


A vulnerability for authority
Even the strongest and most unswerving have their weakness.


The third session of curing therapy
The treatment is over, but Euric doesn't look so cured.


Again: After you have talked with Euric in his cellar, you`ll get the a note for your inventory. With this note you have to talk to Snake about it. You also have to talk with Astrologer at his lighthouse and Mrs. Charm at the 'Dead Horse'. After that you can start the last therapy session with three embedded fragments and unlock the last therapy achievement.

You have to put in some work for the the last three achievements:

Dissatisfied villagers
The villagers are unhappy about something. Pray it's not your fault.


After chapter 4 is finished, you only have to sleep and wait until some villagers appear in your house and talk to you.

Help the villagers
They should be satisfied. At least for now.


Four steps are nesseccary and you have to repair a lot of stuff. Most of the ingredients are nearby the position you have to repair.

Step 1:

• Repair the table at the tavern
  
• Repair the toilet at the blacksmith

Step 2:

• Repair Adams table at the pottery shop
  
• Repair the egg basket
  
• Repair the two beekeeper hives

Step 3:

• Repair the lantern at the farm
  
• Clean the cow north of the tavern

Step 4:

• Repair the clothes line (south of the tavern)
  
• Repair a chest nearby the beekeeper hives
  
• Repair two barrels at the merchant shop
  
• Destroy a pile of glass between tavern and merchant shop
  
• Destroy the toilet door (south of the tavern)

If you have done all of this stuff, talk to Horadric und get the achievement.

Return to the beginning
Nothing is keeping Smiler here any longer. Let him continue his journey - to a new beginning.


If you have repaired all the stuff above, you can talk to the Smiler. He`ll give you the quest to find out something about the guard book. Now you have to talk to Snake, who`ll give you the hint that Gerry (Skull) should know something about it. He finally gives you the sites and then you have to talk to Smiler again and the achievements are done.
