You're welcome, thanks for the information, I added that it may be possible to skip items so you can get the acid early.
From what I remember the Acid watering can could set things on fire but it would also put out any fires before all the damage ticked through if you decided to attack again. If this was changed ignore that part.
I didn't notice the acid watering can canceling out any fire on enemies. In fact I was surprised it was CAUSING fire on enemies when combined with the lighter. Maybe this was a change in a recent update?
Also I was (accidentally) able to buy "Acid" two items "ahead" of the end by first buying out all the hats and then reloading items by quitting to menu and going back into the game a few times. So in theory someone dead-set on hitting the Turnip Boy "limitless run" leaderboards (why???) can use this strat to only unlock Acid without any of the other mediocre items available.
