Where is Styral and the Coast located.
The coast is located south of the base camp. In order to reach it from the jungle, you need head South-East every opportunity you get. It is marked by the blue zone of the map below.

If you want to reach the gate, you need to head North when you arrive in the Coast.
Styral can be found in any part of the coast, all you need to do is to lasso it.
Styral's Powers and how to use them
Level-1
It creates a defensive sphere of water droplets.

Level-2
It creates a spiral set of water droplets. When hit, the targets would be soaked.

Level-3
It releases a string of dizzy particles that would make the target dizzy.

Super move
It launches two Styral limbs out. If not defeated in a few seconds, they would turn into ally Styral. This can be activated by pressing shift and the space bar at the same time.

Styral's ability makes it so that you will not be dizzied or soaked. This makes it easier to converse across water or treading past confungus.

When mounted, Styral has a certain energy level and would get tired when it turns zero. The energy level is marked with an orange circular symbol at the top right of your screen when you have a mount.

The strategy would be to use its super move right before the energy runs out to spawn in 2 friendly Styrals that would be much easier to mount.

Having allied Styrals are also useful for battles as that means that not every monster would be focused onto you and more damage would be dealt to the monsters at the same time.

However, all moves use energy so you need to carefully keep an eye on your energy.

The level-1 move can be used to get out of any situation, especially when surrounded or to run through a corridor as it would be nullified by other bullets.
Good Luck!
Go for it champ!

Oh ok, I'll mark it as outdated, thanks.

Since the most recent update, you can no longer mount allied monsters, so the part of the strategy that relies on generating new styrals to replace the old one no longer works. The rest is still good advice, though.
