Various ores can be obtained by mining asteroids.
Also, if you learn the Mining skill at the Miwei Mining Facility in the DW24 solar system, your mining abilities will improve. The Mining skill is not essential for mine the asteroids, but it is essential for getting the by-products.

• T1 Asteroid - Iron(common), Nickel(common), Gold(slightly), Platinum(rare)
  
• T2 Asteroid - Gold(common), Platinum(slightly), Rodyum(slightly), Volfram(rare)
  
• T3 Asteroid - Platinum(common), Rodyum(common), Volfram(slightly)

The following recipes also require mining by-products as materials.
In order to obtain by-products such as Asteroid Dust, you need to learn the mining skill.
It is also highly recommended to mine with the mining ship Dispatcher to get plenty of by-products.

• T1 Asteroid - Asteroid Dust(some), Blue Dust(slightly) Xicen Oil(rare), Fozilize Crystal(rare), Acid Oil(rare)
  
• T2 Asteroid - Asteroid Dust(many), Blue Dust(some), Xicen Oil(rare), Fozilize Crystal(slightly), Acid Oil(rare)
  
• T3 Asteroid - Asteroid Dust(rare), Blue Dust(rare), Xicen Oil(slightly), Fozilize Crystal(slightly), Acid Oil(slightly)

The core can be obtained by mining space anomalies.
Also, if you learn the "Anomalies" skill at the An-Thoter Research Facility in the AR19 solar system, your mining abilities will improve. ("Anomalies" skill are not essential to mine the space anomalies.)
