The three main houses/families of the Honkai universe are House Apocalypse, House Schariac, and House Kaslana. They are also called the Noble Houses or the Branch Families. They bear the highest prestige and respect from its members, and those belonging to these three families are often the strongest and most powerful combatants against the Honkai.



House Apocalypse rules over the other two-- as it leads Schicksal with the other families as its soldiers. It represents the "Overseer". Unlike the other two families, this house does not usually produce warriors. Theresa Apocalypse became the exception.

House Schariac builds warriors that have a chance to take in the Holy Blood. It represents the "Divine Maiden".

House Kaslana is full of warriors ready to die for their oath. It represents the "Knight".

The three work in tandem to overcome the Honkai.

The House Apocalypse is an important family in the Honkai Universe. Historically, they have always been the rulers of Schicksal, an Anti-Honkai organization, with their role there being the "Overseer". They also govern over the other houses, House Kaslana and House Schariac, in a group called the Three Houses. They usually do not produce any warriors, thus they lack the strength and power to fight against the Honkai themselves, so they are dependant on the other two houses.

The House Kaslana is an important family in the Honkai universe. They are born with excellent resistance against the Honkai, a parallel of House Schariac. Their fighters mainly consist of men, and their patriarchs are often considered the most powerful members of the lineage. As a member of the Three Houses, they are an important pillar of Schicksal, an Anti-Honkai organization, and their role there is the "Knight". They are the descendants of Kevin Kaslana from the Previous Era through his son.

While watered down over centuries of history, this Oath has still remained. Its promise still compels the Kaslanas and urges them to protect humanity from the Honkai, even if their own life is at stake. While the original includes Shamash, the general idea is still kept in place.

It pushed Kallen Kaslana to abandon Schicksal and her family to hide away a dangerous black box. She went by the original Oath.

It pushed Siegfried Kaslana to activate his ICHOR and poison body in order to defeat the 2nd Herrscher once in war, and once when she took control of Kiana.

"Thou Shalt Constitute Thyself As A Shield For The Weak And Innocent" is the variation Siegfried went by.
