Introduction
This guide is for everyone, but especially for beginners. I'll go through each survivor in depth, including their character stealth, general noise, noise generated when hurt, and what their perks do. If you guys want me to add something let me know. I’ll also be adding a killer version of this soon but I’ll need time because these guides take very long <3.

Base Perks
Dark Sense:
Each time a Generator is completed, the Killer's aura is revealed to you for 5 seconds. When the last Generator is powered, the Killer's aura is revealed to you for 10 seconds.

Déjà Vu:
The auras of 3 generators in close proximity to one another are revealed to you for 60 seconds, at the start of the match and each time a Generator is completed.
If you are holding a Map that can track Objectives, Generators revealed by Déjà Vu are added to the Map.

Hope:
As soon as the Exit Gates are powered, you gain a 7% Haste status effect for 120 seconds.

Kindred (Meta Perk):
While you're on the hook, All Survivors' Auras are revealed to all other Survivors. If the Killer is within a 16 meter range, the killer's aura is revealed to all other Survivors.

While a Survivor other than you is on the hook, all other Survivors' auras are revealed to you. If the killer is within a 16 meter range of the hooked Survivor, the killer's aura is revealed to you.

Lighweight:
Scratch marks stay visible 3 seconds less than normal.

No One Left Behind:
Once at least one exit gate is opened, you gain the follwing effects:
  • 100% additional Bloodpoints for healing and unhooking other Survivors.
  • 50% bonus action speed when healing and unhooking other Survivors.
  • The auras of all other Survivors are revealed to you.

Plunderer's Instinct:
The auras of unopened chests and items in the environment are revealed to you when standing within a 32 meter range. Grants a considerably better chance at finding an Item of a higher rarity from chests.

Premonition:
Get an auditory warning when looking in the direction of the Killer in a 45 degree cone within a range of 36 meters.
Premonition has a cooldown of 30 seconds each time it activates. Premonition trumps any of the Killer's stealth abilities.

Resilience:
Grants 9% additional speed when repairing, sabotaging, healing, unhooking, vaulting, cleansing, opening Exit Gates and searching while injured.

Slippery Meat:
Grants 9% additional speed when repairing, sabotaging, healing, unhooking, vaulting, cleansing, opening Exit Gates and searching while injured.

Small Game:
Get an auditory warning when looking in the direction of Killer traps and totems in a 45 degree cone within a range of 12 meters.
Small Game has a cooldown of 10 seconds each time it activates.

Spine Chill:
Get notified when the Killer is looking directly in your direction and standing in a 36 meter range. When Spine Chill is active, Skill Check trigger odds are increased by 10% with success zones reduced by 10%. While Spine Chill is active, your repair, heal and sabotage speeds are increased by 6%.

This Is Not Happening:
Great Skill Check success zones when repairing, healing and sabotaging get 30% bigger when you are injured.

We'll Make It:
For each Survivor you rescue from a hook, gain an additional 100% speed increase to healing others for 90 seconds. Cumulative healing speed bonuses cannot exceed 100%.

Bond:
Unlocks potential in your Aura-reading ability. The Auras of other Survivors are revealed to you when they are within 20/28/36 metres. (Unlocks Level 30)

Prove Thyself (Meta Perk):
Gain a stack-able 15 % Repair Speed bonus for each Survivor within 4 metres of you, up to a maximum of 45 %. Prove Thyself grants percentage bonus Bloodpoints for Co-operative actions. (Unlocks Levels 35)

Leader:
When other Survivors are within 8 metres of you, Leader increases their Action speeds for Healing, Sabotaging, Unhooking, Cleansing, Opening, and Unlocking actions by several percent. This effect lingers for 15 seconds when leaving Leader's range. Leader does not stack with other instances of itself. (unlocks level 40)

Perks:

Quick & Quiet:
The vault and hide actions' noise detection range is reduced by 100 %, this effect can only be triggered every 30/25/20 seconds. (Unlocks level 30)

Sprint Burst (Meta Perk):
When starting to run, break into a sprint at 150 % of your normal running speed for a maximum of 3 seconds, Sprint Burst causes the Exhausted Status Effect for several seconds. Sprint Burst cannot be used when exhausted. (Unlocks level 35)

Adrenaline (Meta Perk):
Instantly heal one Health State and sprint at 150 % of your normal running speed for 5 seconds when an Exit Gate opens. Adrenaline will wake you up if you are asleep when it triggers. Adrenaline ignores Exhaustion. Causes Exhaustion for 60/50/40 seconds. (Unlocks level 40)

Empathy:
Unlocks potential in your Aura-reading ability. The Auras of dying or injured Survivors are revealed to you within a range of several metres. Empathy does not reveal the Aura of a Survivor currently being carried by the Killer. (unlocks level 30)

Botany Knowledge:
Healing speeds, as well as the efficiency of Med-Kits, are increased by several percent 14/13/12 seconds. (unlocks level 35)

Self-Care:
Unlocks the Self-Care ability, allowing to self-heal without needing a Med-Kit at 50 % of the normal Healing speed. (unlocks level 40)

Jake Park
Free

Perks:

Iron Will (Meta Perk):
You are able to concentrate and enter a meditative-like state to numb some pain. Lowers the volume of Grunts of Pain by 50/75/100 %. (unlocks level 30)

Calm Spirit:
The chances of alerting nearby Crows are reduced by 80/90/100 % and your urge to scream from pain is suppressed. (unlocks level 35)

Saboteur:
See Hook Auras in a radius of 56 metres from the pick-up spot if a Survivor is being carried. Unlocks the ability to sabotage Hooks without a Toolbox. Sabotaging a Hook without a Toolbox takes 3 seconds. The Sabotage action has a cool-down of 90/75/60 seconds. (unlocks level 40)

Balances Landing:
When falling from great heights, you benefit from: Reduces the Stagger duration by 75 %. Suppresses Grunts of Exertion from falling. Upon landing, break into a sprint at 150 % of your normal Running Movement speed for 3 seconds. Balanced Landing causes exhaustion for 60/50/40 seconds. (unlocks level 30)

Urban Evasion:
Increases your Crouching Movement speed by 90/95/100%. (unlocks level 35)

Streetwise:
Reduce the consumption rate of Item charges by 10/12/15 % for you and allies within 8 metres of range. Once out of range, this effect persists for 15 seconds. (unlocks level 30)
David King

We’re gonna live forever:
your Healing speed is increased by 100 %. Performing any of the following actions has We're Gonna Live Forever gain 1 Token:
  • Performing a Safe Hook Rescue
  • Taking a Protection Hit for an injured Survivor.
Stunning or Blinding the Killer to rescue a carried Survivor
Each Token grants a stack-able 25 % bonus to all Bloodpoint gains, up to a maximum of 50/75/100%. The bonus Bloodpoints are only awarded post-Trial. (unlocks level 30)

Dead Hard (Meta Perk):
When injured, tap into your adrenaline bank and dash forward quickly to avoid damage. Press the Active Ability button while running to dash forward. Avoid any damage during the Dash. Causes the Exhausted Status Effect for 60/50/40. Dead Hard cannot be used when exhausted. (unlocks level 35)

No Mither:
You suffer from the broken status Effect for the entire Trial, but benefit from the following effects:
Pools of blood are suppressed. When injured or dying, Grunts of Pain are reduced by 25/50/75%. Your Recovery speed is increased by 15/20/25%. You can recover fully from the dying state. (unlocks level 40)

William "Bill" Overbeck

Left Behind:
When you are the last Survivor remaining in the Trial, the Hatch's Aura is revealed to you within a range of 24/28/32 metres. (unlocks level 30)

Borrowed Time (Meta Perk):
For 8/10/12 seconds after unhooking a Survivor, the unhooked Survivor is protected by the Endurance Status Effect. Any damage taken that would put the Survivor into the Dying State will instead trigger the Deep Wound Status Effect, after which the Survivor has 20 seconds to Mend themselves. Taking any damage while under the effect of Deep Wound or if its timer runs out will put the Survivor into the Dying State. (unlocks level 35)

Unbreakable (Meta Perk):
Grants the ability to fully recover from the Dying State once per trial. Increases the Dying State Recovery speed by 25/30/35 %. (unlocks level 40)
Ace
Free (console)
Character stealth: medium stealth

Noise when injured: quiet cries
Perks:

Open-Handed:
Open-Handed increases all Aura-reading ranges by 8/12/16 metres. Open-Handed does not stack with other instances of itself. (unlocks level 30)

Up The Ante:
For each Survivor still in the Trial, Up the Ante gains 1 Token. Each Token applies a stack-able 1/2/3% bonus to the Luck of all Survivors, up to a maximum 3/6/9%. (unlocks level 35)

Ace in the hole:
When retrieving an Item from a Chest, there is a 100 % chance to find an Add-on of Very Rare Rarity or lower attached to it. 10/25/50 % chance to find a second Add-on of Uncommon Rarity or lower attached to it. Ace in the Hole allows you to keep any Add-on your Item has upon escaping. (unlocks level 40)
Feng Min
Free (console)
Character stealth: medium stealth

Perks:

Technician:
Failing a Skill Check while repairing:
  • Prevents the Generator Explosion.
  • Applies the default Regression penalty.
  • Applies an additional Regression penalty of 5/4/3%.
  • Technician reduces the audible range of your Generator-repairing noises by 8 metres. (unlocks level 30)

Lithe:
After performing a rushed vault, break into a sprint at 150 % of your normal running speed for a maximum of 3 seconds. Causes the Exhausted Status Effect for 60/50/40 seconds. Lithe cannot be used while Exhausted. You do not recover from Exhaustion while running. (unlocks level 35)

Alert:
When the Killer performs a break action, the Killer's Aura is revealed to you for 3/4/5 (unlocks level 40)


Laurie Strode
500 AC
Character stealth: Bad stealth
General noise made: quiet
Noise when injured: loud cries
Perks:

Sole Survivor:
Your Aura cannot be read by the Killer within a maximum range of 20/22/24 meters for each killed or sacrificed Survivor. (unlocks level 30)

Object Of Obsession:
Whenever the Killer reads your Aura, Object of Obsession activates:
  • The Killer's Aura is revealed to you for the same duration as they read your Aura.
    Your Actions speeds in Repairing, Healing, and Cleansing are increased by 2/4/6 %.
    If you are the Obsession, your Aura is revealed to the Killer for 3 seconds every 30 seconds.
    Increases the odds of being the Obsession.
  • The Killer can only be obsessed with one Survivor at a time.
    (unlocks level 35)

Decisive Strike (Meta Perk):
After being unhooked or unhooking yourself, Decisive Strike will become active and usable for 40/50/60 seconds.
While Decisive Strike is active, when grabbed by the Killer, succeed a Skill Check to automatically escape the Killer's grasp and stun the Killer for 5 seconds.
Successfully stunning the Killer will result in you becoming the Obsession.
While Decisive Strike is active, the following interactions will deactivate it for the remainder of the Trial:
  • Succeeding or failing the Decisive Strike Skill Check.
  • Repairing a Generator.
  • Healing yourself or other Survivors.
  • Cleansing a Totem.
  • Sabotaging a Hook.
  • Unhooking other Survivors.
  • Increases the odds of being the Obsession.
  • The Killer can only be obsessed with one Survivor at a time.
    (unlocked level 40)
Quentin Smith
500 AC
Character stealth: medium stealth
General noise made: medium
Noise when injured: medium cries
Perks:

Wake up!: Once all Generators are powered, Exit Gates are revealed to you when within a range of 128 meters. While opening the Exit Gates, reveal your Aura to other Survivors within a range of 128 meters. While Wake Up! is active, you open the Exit Gates 5/10/15 % faster. (unlocks level 30)

Pharmacy:
Unlocking Chests is several percent faster. Unlocking your first Chest guarantees an Emergency Med-Kit. Pharmacy reduces the audible range of your Chest-unlocking noises by 8 meters. (unlocks level 35)

Vigil:
Increases your Recovery rate from the Blindness, Broken, Exhaustion, Exposed, Hemorrhage, Hindered, and Oblivious Status Effects by 20/25/30 %. This effect also applies to all other Survivors within 8 meters of your location and lingers for 15 seconds. (unlocks level 40)
Detective David Tapp
500AC
Character stealth: medium stealth

Perks:

Tenacity:
Crawl several percent faster and also recover at the same time. (level 30)

Detective’s Hunch:
Each time a Generator is completed, the Auras of any Generators, Chests, and Totems within 32/48/64 metres are revealed to you for 10 seconds. If you are holding a Map, any objects revealed by Detective's Hunch will automatically be tracked by it. (level 35)

Stake out:
Every 15 seconds you are standing within the Killer's Terror Radius without being chased, Stake Out gains 1 Token, up to a maximum of several Tokens. When Stake Out has at least 1 Token, Good Skill Checks consume 1 Token and are considered Great Skill Checks, granting an additional Progression bonus of 1%. (Great Skill Checks do not consume any Tokens.) (unlocks level 40)

Dance With Me:
When performing a rushed action to vault a Window or leave a Locker, you will not leave any Scratch for the next 3 seconds. Dance With Me has a cool-down of 60/50/40 seconds. (unlocks level 30)

Windows Of Opportunity:
Unlocks potential in your Aura-reading ability. The Auras of Breakable Walls, Pallets, and Windows are revealed to you within 24/28/32 metres. (unlocks level 35)

Boil Over:
While being carried by the Killer: Struggle Effects from Wiggling, causing the Killer to strafe sideways, are increased by 25/50/75 %. You obscure the Killer's ability to read the Auras of all Hooks 10/12/14 metres of your pick-up location. (unlocks level 40)

Perks:

Diversion:
Standing within the Killer's while not in a Chase for 40/35/30 seconds activates Diversion. Once Diversion is activated, press the Active Ability button while crouched and motionless to throw a pebble, creating a distraction for the Killer at a distance of 20 metres.
The distraction consists of the following:
  • A Loud Noise Notification, Scratch Marks
  • Diversion's timer resets once the ability has been activated. (level 30)


Deliverance:
after performing a Safe Hook Rescue on another Survivor, Deliverance activates:
Your Self-Unhook attempts will succeed 100 % of the time.
Deliverance causes the Broken Status Effect for 100/80/60 seconds after unhooking yourself. (level 35)

Autodidact:
You start the Trial with a -25 % Progression penalty for Skill Checks to heal. For every successful Skill Check completed while healing a Survivor, Autodidact gains 1 Token up to a maximum of 3/4/5 Tokens. Each Token grants a +15 % bonus Progression for a successful Skill Check while healing Survivors. Great Skill Checks cannot be performed while using Autodidact. Autodidact is not active when using a Med-Kit to heal. (level 40)

Breakdown:
Each time you are unhooked or unhook yourself, the hook breaks and the Killer's aura is revealed to you for 4/5/6 seconds. A Hook broken by Breakdown takes 180 seconds to respawn. (unlocks level 30)

Aftercare:
You see the Aura of the last 1/2/3 Survivor(s): You have rescued from a Hook, or who have rescued you from a Hook. You have completed a Healing action on, or who have completed a Healing action on you. They also see your Aura. All effects of Aftercare are reset upon being hooked by the Killer. (unlocks level 35)

Distortion:
You start the trial with 3 Tokens. Whenever the Killer attempts to read your Aura Distortion activates and a Token is consumed: Your Aura will not be shown to the Killer, and you will not leave any Scratch Marks for the next 6/8/10 seconds. Distortion does not activate when you are in the Dying State or in killer trap. (unlocks level 40)

Solidarity:
When injured, healing another Survivor without using a Med-Kit also heals you with a Conversion rate of 40/45/50 %. (unlocks level 30)

Poised:
After a Generator is completed, you will not leave any Scratch Marks for the next 6/8/10 seconds. (unlocks level 35)

Head On:
When your mind is set, there better be no one standing in your way.
While standing in a Locker for 3 seconds, Head On activates:
  • When performing a rushed action to leave a Locker, stun the Killer for 3 seconds if they are within range. Head On causes the Exhausted Status Effect for 60/50/40 seconds. (unlocks level 40)

Perks:

Flip Flop:
While in the Dying State, 50% of your Recovery progression is converted into Wiggling progression, up to a maximum of several percent, once you are picked up by the Killer. (Unlocked level 30)

Buckle Up:
Unlocks potential in your Aura-reading ability. You can determine the Recovery progress of dying Survivors by the intensity of their Aura at a distance of up to 48 metres away. (Unlocks level 35)

Metal Of Man:
deactivates the next time you are put into the Dying State. Increases the odds of becoming the Killer's initial Obsession by +100 %. The Killer can only be obsessed with one Survivor at a time. (Unlocks level 40)

Perks:

Babysitter:
When you unhook a survivor, the rescued Survivor will leave neither nor Pools of blood for the next 4/6/8 seconds. Both you and the see each other's for 4 seconds. (Unlocks level 30)

Camaraderie:
While you are on the hook in the Struggle Phase, Camaraderie activates:
If another survivor is within 16 metres of your Hook while Camaraderie is active, the Struggle Phase timer is paused for 26/30/34 seconds. (Unlocks level 35)

Second Wind:
When you heal another survivor for the equivalent of 1 Health, Second Wind activates:
The next time you are unhooked or unhook yourself, you suffer from the broken status effect until Second Wind deactivates.
You are automatically healed 1 Health State after 28/24/20 seconds.
While Second Wind is active, the following conditions will deactivate it:
  • Successfully being healed by Second Wind.
  • Being put into the Dying State before the timer elapses. (Unlocks level 40)
Nancy Wheeler

Perks:

Better Together:
While repairing a generators, its auras is revealed in yellow to all other Survivors located within 32 metres. If the killer downs a Survivor while you are repairing a Generator, you see the Auras of all other Survivors for 8/9/10 seconds. (Unlocks Level 30)

Fixated:
You walk 10/15/20% faster and can see your own Scratch Marks. (Unlocks Level 35)

Inner Strength:
Each time you cleanse a totem, Inner Strength activates:
  • You are automatically healed 1 Health State when hiding inside a Locker for 10/9/8 seconds while injured or suffering from the Deep Wound status affect. (Unlocks Level 40)

Lucky Break:
Lucky Break activates any time you are injured. You won't leave trails of blood for a total of 180 seconds. Lucky Break is permanently deactivated for the remainder of the trial once the total duration has elapsed. (Unlocks Level 30)

Any Means Necessary:
Press and hold the Active Ability button for 4 seconds while standing beside a dropped pallet to reset it to its upright position.
  • Any Means Necessary has a cooldown of 120 seconds. (Unlocks Level 35)

Breakout:
When within 6 meters of a carried Survivor, you gain the Haste Status Effect, moving at 7% increased speed. The carried Survivor's wiggle speed is increased by 20%. (Unlocks Level 40)

Off the Record
Once you are unhooked or escape from the Hook, Off the Record activates for 80 seconds.
While Off the Record is active:
  • your Aura will not be shown to the Killer and Grunts of Pain caused by injuries are reduced by 100 %. (Unlocks level 30)

Red Herring Red Herring:
After repairing a Generator for at least 3 seconds, it will be highlighted to you with a yellow Aura. The Generator stays highlighted until it is fully repaired, or you repair a new Generator, or enter a Locker.
Entering any Locker will trigger a Loud Noise indicator for the Killer at the highlighted Generator's location.
  • Red Herring can only be triggered once every 60 seconds.
    (Unlocks Level 35)

For the People:
For the People is only active while at full health.
  • Press the active ability button while healing another Survivor without a Med-Kit to instantly heal them from Dying to Injured or from Injured to Healthy.
  • You become injured and receive the Broken status effect for 90 seconds.
  • You become the Obsession.
  • Decreases your chances of being the Obsession.
  • The Killer can only be obsessed with one Survivor at a time (Unlocks Level 40)
Cheryl Mason

Noises when injured: Quiet Cries
Perks:

Soul Guard:
Gain the Endurance status effect for 8 seconds after being healed or having recovered from the dying state. While cursed by a hex, you can fully recover from the dying state. (Unlocks Level 30)

Blood Pact:
When you or the Obsession are injured, you both see each other's auras. After healing the Obsession or being healed by the Obsession:
  • you both gain the Haste status effect for 8 seconds.
  • Reduces the odds of being the Obsession.
  • If you are the Obsession, Blood Pact deactivates. (Unlocks Level 35)

Repressed Alliance:
Repressed Alliance activates after repairing generators for a total of 60 seconds.
When repairing a generator while Repressed Alliance is active, press the Active Ability button to call upon the Entity to block the generator for 30 seconds. Repressed Alliance deactivates.
Affected generators will be revealed by a white aura to all Survivors.
(Unlocks Level 40)

  • Each time a Generator is completed, Visionary is disabled for 20/18/16 seconds.

Desperate Measures:
Increases Healing and Unhooking speeds by 10/12/14 % for each injured, hooked, or dying Survivor, up to a maximum of 40/48/56 %. (Unlocks Level 35)

Built to Last:
Hiding inside a lockers for 14/13/12 seconds while carrying a depleted items will replenish its Charges to 99 %. (Unlocks Level 40)

Appraisal:
Start the Trial with 3 Tokens:
When a chests has already been opened, consume 1 Token to rummage through it for an items.
Rummage through Chests 40/60/80 % faster. (Unlocks Level 30)

Deception:
Interact with a lockers while holding the Sprint button to trigger a Loud Noise Notification for the killer at your location instead of entering the Locker.

You will not leave any scratch marks or Pools of Blood Status Effects bleeding for the next 3 seconds.
Deception can only be triggered once every 60/50/40 seconds. (Unlocks Level 35)

Power Struggle:
While being carried by The Killer, reaching 35/30/25 % Wiggling progression activates Power Struggle:
  • You can drop a nearby, standing pallet to stun the Killer and escape their grasp.
    Power Struggle deactivates after triggering successfully. (Unlocks Level 40)

Fast Track:
Whenever another Survivor is hooked, Fast Track gains 1/2/3 Tokens, up to a maximum of 9/18/27 Tokens.
  • You consume all accumulated Tokens after a Great Skill on a generators.

Whenever another Survivor is hit with a Basic Attack or Special Attack within 16 metres of you, Self-Preservation activates:
  • Scratch marks

• Each time another Survivor cooperating with you on the same Generator fails a Skill Check, Corrective Action consumes 1 Token, transforming their Failed Skill Check into Good Skill Check instead. (Unlocks Level 35)


Boon: Exponential:

Survivors inside the Boon Totem's range benefit from the following effects:
