Introduction
Hello! I wrote some informations how to do few of good builds. It's especially useful for new players and everybody who want to change their gameplay style (with skill reset).
I asked some of my friends about their builds, playing style and used my knowledge.
If I'll have some more spare time I'll expand descriptions but for now it's mostly just amount of points for certain skills.
Few general words about skills
Most basic builds are balanced and critical. First is based on class special abilities and second at doing crit shots, sometimes also very high DPS.
If you want to build your own build, remeber to DO NOT invest points into these skills:
  • Field Supplies (You can run contracts for HD ammo and buy it with cash. Points are more valuable)
  • Pay Grade (Have a look at point 8.)
  • Energy Boost (You can boost max energy in equipment auguments and better skill is Energy Regen)
  • Health Regen (Unprofitable. Your main clearing weapon should have biosynthesis so you just throw away points at that skill)
  • Recovery Time (YOU MUST SURVIVE!)
  • Grenade Damage (You won't even see significant diferrence, even with 375% additional grenade damage)
Also this information could be helpful:

Reload speed - the number stacks multiplicative with base reload speed first, then other multiplier augments or other reload speed effects. For example a gun with 2 seconds with reload speed 50% from skill + 25% reload speed from nimble augment + 50% from Adrenaline will results in calculation of 2 x (1-0.5) x (1-0.25) x (1-0.5) = 0.375 sec reload time instead of instant reload. Titan IDS arm and nimble augment stacks additively as one multiplier.
Assault
Assault is a class based on speed and damage. You don't need to stick to that but it's effective.

Balanced
25 Adrenaline
25 Killing Spree
23 Body Armour Expert
20 Speed
6 Reload
1 Stim Shot
  • Most important is adrenaline skill and speed. Invest that one point into Stim Shot for "a backup plan" when you're in troubles.
CRIT
25 Adrenaline
25 Killing Spree
23 Body Armour Expert
16 Crit
6 Speed
4 Reload
  • As fast as possible have 1 adrenaline, 1 killing spree, 1 crit and 4 reload.
HEAVY ASSAULT
25 Adrenaline
25 Toughness
21 Body armor expert
21 Killing spree
4 Reload
4 Speed
  • It's really good choice, you get lots of HP and assault special skills.
  • I used a hotspot for low lvl's, flamethrower for mid lvl's and shockfield for high lvl. Homever you should use what you like (but you need to know how to compare weapons and don't use junk).
  • First one point into adrenaline, killing spree, 4 reload.
  • Your armor can be all dragonfly or mixed dragonfly/medusa with rubicon vest.

Heavy
Hey! I'll be honest. Heavy is not a heavy guy with heavy gun...he is..

Okay. After that joke let's say something about that class. I think this is best class to all new players and easiest to reach 100lvl when you know what are you doing.

Balanced
25 Hold the Line
23 Body Armour Expert
23 Tough Body
23 Movement Speed
5 Reload
1 Die Another Day
  • Try to have good armor and biosynthesis on clearing weapon (Btw everybody should have this)
CRIT
25 Hold the Line
25 Critical Shot
23 Body Armour Expert
17 Tough Body
5 Reload
4 Speed
1 Die Another Day
  • Try to have fast shooting, fast reload weapon.
Immortal
25 Hold the Line
25 Toughness
23 Body Armour Expert
18 Tough Body
4 Reload
4 Speed
1 Die Another Day
  • Key for that build is high resistance and health regen with armor. Trust me, if you do it right you can face-rush most of bosses.
Medic
I played most of my time as medic. I really liked to have reflections about how bad is it and how powerful it can be. Anyway we separate medic to 2 main types: combat medic and support medic. First is just like other classes but you use medic skills for healing. Second one is like "a doctor in the hospital", you use your medic abilities to help your team win (at your expense).

Balanced
25 Medkit
23 Body Armour Expert
23 Biocleanse Bomb
23 Speed
6 Reload
  • You'll have a medkits, good armor, good speed, faster reload and a bio bomb. What you need more?
  • I recommend to have some energy regen auguments on armor and some more speed.
CRIT
25 Critical Shot
25 Biocleanse Bomb
23 Body Armour Expert
13 Medkit
9 Speed
5 Reload
  • Critical medic is interesing build. In high lvl's you should use stripper or maybe hornet/hotspot.
  • Place one point into critical shot, then one bio bomb, few reload and then go as you like.
Only support
25 Biocleanse Bomb
25 Zombie Antidote
23 Speed/Body Armour Expert
20 Medkit
5 Final Farewell
2 Reload
  • Be aware, this build is just support. You'll likely die most of times but your team should be playing like few lvl's better. I highly recommend that build only when you have some friends to play with, no random people. It's really helpful build for organised team but also you'll need some help to survive.
  • Armor can be all for speed with energy regeneration auguments or speed/resistance with energy regeneration. You need at least 5.5 energy/s (I recommend 7.5 energy/s) if you can't have it try less points on something (final decision is yours) and put 5 into energy regen skill.
  • First one point into bio bomb, then one final farewell, 2 reload and then what you want till zombie antidote (you want to max it out)
Immortal
25 Biocleanse Bomb
25 Toughness
23 Body Armour Expert
12 Medkit
10 Speed
5 Reload
  • This build is to emitate the heavy build on medic. You can easily boost your biosynthesis on gun with medkits.
  • For sure, you need to have energy regen. Obtain this by auguments on armor. It's important to spam bio bombs and still have some spare energy for medkits.
  • First place your point to unlock bio bomb, then some to reload/BAE and then as you want - amount matters.

This game is ruled by cheaters that killed the Broswer version using exploits and hacks in the first days of the game (infinite 20$ cores)... Each second spent on this game is simply feeding cheaters that will abuse of new players , so you.Since they invaded SAS4 on Steam.

Example: these 2 players were failing vaccine mission because timer went to 0, but they used their "instant win" hack, mission was won even out of timer and us killed by final bombing of the zone...

There the Hacker SalvadorJJMS
Hacking instant revive tokens (buyable at store),
a level 8 player that revive as soon as he die...

I would like to comment on the heavy builds and tough body in specific. With how the damage reduction scales (6% level 1 and then 2% after each level) the more points you have on the skill, the more valuable the next upgrade is.

I.e when taking 1000 pre-mitigation damage with level 1 and level 2 tough body the damage taken is
level 1 (6%): 940 damage
level 2 (8%): 920 damage

thats an effective damage reduction of (1-920/940)=2,13% with one skill point

compare that to levels 24 and 25
level 24 (52%): 480 damage
level 25 (54%): 460 damage

the effective damage reduction per skill point is (1-460/480)=4,17% (one single skill point is almost TWICE as valuable)

Long story short it might be better to spend the whole 25 skill points on tough body or not at all, prioritizing crit, speed or other useful skills because the scaling on tough body is so reliant on the last few skill points.
