Why Skree isn't Pay2Win

Skree was originally the third and final starstorm naut, however due to the stretch goals reached in the kickstarter, Foxy was introduced and Skree was pushed into 4th. Skree after many reworks he is finally here! No longer a stealth class and now more of a offensive support naut.

Who is Skree?
Skree is a Shaman who lived on starstorm station before he reactivated it by accident, he is a mix support naut who mostly focuses in trapping people and relays on teamwork rather him trying to tank all of the hits and get kills, he also has the potential to do a lot of damage to enemies, but it is still difficult to kill enemies.

Also he has the highest skill celling of all the starstorm nauts by a HUGE amount.
Complaints from players
THE SAW IS UNDODGEABLE AND DOES TOO MUCH DAMAGE!?

They are REALLY easy to dodge, they only move twice, one where Skree deploys them, and the other is when after about 5 seconds, they return to Skree and attack anything they come to contact with, ANY naut can dodge them, even Clunk.

Also they are Sawblades so no sh*t they do a lot of damage.

THAT TOTEM THING IS TOO BIG, I CAN'T ESCAPE!

The Totem is like a deployable building like Voltar's healbot, and like the healbot YOU CAN destroy it, however its a tank so you will have to do a lot of damage, also it can get a height upgrade so becareful not to let the Skree trap you, the only other use besides trapping is that it can block turrets and stop people chasing Skree.

Its meant for areal denial, stop people from pushing as hard or even stop pushes all together, like Sentry or Gnaw.

Also it does no damage to you, no explosion after it dies or any that crap, it only slows you down when you touch it after Skree gets an upgrade.

HIS NORMAL ATTACK IS BROKEN!


No its not, the damage is not a lot and is easily survivable, also its a homing attack so it can automatically hits any nearby targets even invisible targets (AND DON'T say that makes it op, loads of things counter invisable targets like DOT, Snare, Slow, Blind so shut up), it does has slow and DOT on it FYI so if your confused why your taking extra damage/slowed down, thats why.

Compared to the other Starstorm naut's AA, Skree's is easily the most balanced and most people say its weak!

HE CAN FLY IN THE AIR!? WHY!?

Actually its not flying, go play Yuri or VInne for flying, Skree can hover by holding the W key, its unlimited and he can stay up there as long as he wants, only complaints I can see is that he can out juke you, but its your fault if he can out juke you because it means you suck.

Q. Not many complaints, why?

A. Skree is hard as sh*t to play as, trust me its hard and feels weird compared to other nauts, so not many people are successful as him.

Q. So that's the end then? All 5 characters are here! What's next?

A. I do make other guides, my most recent one is on Payday 2 talking about Perk decks, I also have another one in the works. Plus I might make a Starstorm super guide talking about what's in the DLC and is it Pay2Win, aka combing all these guides into one and adding more content like about Music etc.

Also if your against this, too bloody bad.

Q. Have you faced good players who played against the naut your talking about?

A. Yes, or I would be making these blind, I play awesomenauts a lot so I do have good experience with these characters.

Q. Will you update this guides?

A. Yes, I'm going to do that with my current Starstorm nauts Guides and future ones.

Q. Can I play a game with you?

A.Due to a large "Adding Blitzkerg" from Phishing Bots I stopped accepting all friend requests unless you contacted me somewhere else.

A. I'm happy to answer all seroius comments, however if I don't it means I can't be bothered or your comment is so stupid that I will just ignore it.

Q. Have you got a steam group?

A. It's not about me, it's just a group of players who enjoy a certain gif and a certain song joined together, honestly the members are really friendly and you can make some new friends there, but not me, I'm a grumpy old ♥♥♥♥.

I think some of your arguments are complete nonsense, such as the following:

The fact they look like sawblades doesn't mean Skree can have way more damage than others. It also pretty much renders derpl's siege mode useless, and nibbs and raelynn are p. much dead if they use their ability and skree is there. The sawblade is very unbalanced and needs a damage nerf.

If you have to tell someone that Skree is P2W, then something is wrong... But the people without Starstorm DLC will complain about him anyway because he costs money, ironically, the most broken Nauts are the free ones (I'm looking at you Ayla)

I will add he's pretty strong vs siege derpl though, but so are lonestar, leon, coco, raelynn, vinnie, ted, and sentry.

Skree pay to win?

Come on, he's pay to lose if anything. 90% of skrees just feed hard. The remaining 10% are alright, but would be 10x better with ANY other naut.

My problem with skree is how amazing he is at farming, while he's severely lacking in every other way. Sawblade can kill droids in seconds even without any upgrades, so skree players just farm so hard the rest of their team doesn't get any droid money. And where does all that money go? Upgrades to farm even harder!

Have you even played awesomenauts? So many people complain the starstorm cast to be Pay2win and OP, even Skree was getting bashed in some matches I was in.

They make mistakes like us, we are all human and its natural to make mistakes, its fixing them they take a while to do (Like Ted's nerfs for no reason)
