Reproduction of a 1998 Defender 90 Td5 with a 5-cylinder turbo diesel engine.
The engine has been changed to an I5 DOHC ADI. It is not a diesel, but I chose it because it has the same five cylinders and the shape is similar. The engine output has been kept low to match the standards of 1998. Peripheral equipment and exhausts have been rearranged referring to images on the internet.
The tires are slightly larger, but the size is in line with the standard stock tires.
The body is a standard type with a rear seat, and the bumper and front grill are paintable. The front license plate has been repositioned to match the bumper.
The modifications are modest, but I tried to make it as close as possible to the Td5 made in '98.

５気筒のターボディーゼルエンジンを搭載した、1998年製のDefender 90 Td5を再現しました。
エンジンをI5 DOHC ADiに変更。ディーゼルではないですが、同じ5気筒で形状が近いので選択しました。エンジン出力は'98年当時の水準に合わせ抑えてあります。周辺装置やエキゾーストはネットの画像等を参考に配置しなおしました。
タイヤはわずかに大きくなりましたが、サイズは純正品の規格に合わせています。
ボディは後部座席のついた標準型、バンパーやフロントグリルは塗装可能なタイプを選択しました。前部ライセンスプレートはバンパーに合わせ位置を変更してあります。
改造の内容は地味ですが、'98年製のTd5にできるだけ近づけるよう努力しました。
