Avoid taking Scorpion's side during game night if you are trying to romance Nova, favoring either woman during game night is a great way to build up those relationship points with whichever route you are pursuing.
If you do the mission instead of game night, pick the options that keep as many of the team from falling or getting caught for the hero's path.
Bonus points, be nice to Dave every time even when you really don't want to, and he'll side with you when it counts. Worth a steam achievement.
Right before the big reveal, if Nova calls you, you are probably on her path. If Scorpion calls you, you are definitely on her path. If Dave calls you, you made a buddy, but you aren't on any romance path.
For reference, I chose to go on the side gig instead of game night. And obviously, helped her escape.
10 is the best ending in my opinion, but 5 and 9 are good runners up.
Holy shit 7 is the most dystopian ending ever. 11 would almost be as bad if it weren't for being the one that gives Dynamo the most screen time, which makes it unique in itself.
You need to ask about Scorpion and more about the super computer whenever you can.
