I hit level 65 on a new character when the new DLC/pass came out by doing nothing but reading pages and doing the easiest side quests available, took 9 hours to do so (had some messing around and mining ore to sell cuz market was all over the place and selling "high tier" ore was VERY profitable). This was on "wipe day".

Nope, this is the feeling if you hit lvl 100 in Path of exile. This is a challenge

This levelling feeling was in older MMOs like runescape, sure. But in New World, you can get to lv 60 by just afk spamming story quest, it can be done within days.

I'm not tryna roast NW, but just saying, the nostalgic vibe of levelling till max was a thing in WoW or Runescape, etc. In modern games like NW, or Throne & Liberty, or Black Desert, getting to max level can be done within 1-2 days and means nothing. The real game starts after that.

As soon as I finally hit 60, I spent a few hours grinding a festival currency for lvl 60 gear, then once I was equipped. Logged off, and uninstalled a week later. RIP
