Description
This mod adds the 12 Olympian gods to the game, as well as Dionysus and Hades. Each new god has fully fleshed out cult level and prayer bonuses, custom religious buildings, divine boons... The bonuses of each god and the flavour texts are based on the original Greek myths, specially on the works by Homer and Hesiod.

  • Zeus
  • Hera
  • Poseidon
  • Athena
  • Ares
  • Apollo
  • Aphrodite
  • Artemis
  • Hephaestus
  • Hermes
  • Demeter
  • Hestia
  • Dionysus
  • Hades


Included features:
  • Fully fleshed out cult level and prayer bonuses for the new gods
  • Custom religious buildings for the new gods
  • Divine boons for the new gods
  • New traits for priestesses
  • Warrior priest units for all gods


Compatibility:
This mod works in all three game modes (historical, truth behind the myth and mythos), and as far as I know it is save game compatible. The mod edits the troy_campaign_traits.lua script, so it might have compatibility issues with mods that add custom traits. For optimal compatibility, load this mod before them.


This mod is part of the Bibliotheca Mythologica. I strongly recommend to use this mod together with Heroes of Troy mod, which adds new heroes and playable factions to the game.

Maybe :steamhappy: Right now I am enjoying the game, but if I feel like doing a similar mod for dynasties I will expand the pantheons for the different religions. However, I will probably try to keep the historical feel of Dynasties, removing the more mythological aspects.

SO any chance of this fantasy stuff coming to dynasties? is that even possible? Would love more god stuff with egyptians, mesopoamians... etc.

I have the immersive graphic mods as well as extended faction and loved your mod but see that I cannot build temples with non vanilla factions. I can pray and hecatomb, I even have your mod before all others, any help?

You were correct about it being the fact that I’m not playing as a vanilla faction I switched over to Achilles and it was all their. Thank you for the help. 🫱🏼‍🫲🏽

I have never tried the Radious mod, but some users have reported using this mod alongside it (apparently there are some compatibility issues). Trying different mod load order is the only thing I can suggest.

I haven't been able to make this compatible with Radious. Am I doing something wrong?

Maybe it's conflicting with the extended factions mod. Are you playing as a non-vanilla faction? I have used this mod in 18 different campaigns and didn't find this issue.

I also only have this mod installed the other two mods listed in the package aren't compatible with the extended factions mod

So for some reason I am having the same issue as grimnir_majora so i am not able to construct any of the temples for the new gods.. they simply arent in the temple construction tab... but i can still see them in the favors tab.. could it be that I am trying it on a saved campaign instead of starting fresh??
