Beskrivning
Another weapon script addon that allows the survivor bots to pickup the M60 and the grenade launcher.
The only difference is that this one doesn't bind such weapons clip sizes to other T2 weapons in order to increase their max ammo.
This means that you can change the M60 and GL max ammo without altering the other weapons.

To change the max ammo simply set the following cvars:
ammo_m60_max 450 // default: 0 ammo_grenadelauncher_max 40 // default: 30
If you are using Left 4 Bots you can add these lines to your "convars.txt" file.

NOTE: With Left 4 Bots 2 you no longer need this.

This addon may cause consistency issues so adding this cvar is also recommended:
sv_consistency 0

If you want to prevent the auto drop of the M60 when the ammo in the clip drops to 0 you can install Left 4 Fun.

I wish bots wouldn't pick up the GL because they're bad at shooting at rooftops. And they'd also prefer the M60 to any other T2.

pardon for asking a simple question but can't try it out rn - does the max ammo affect only bots or also for us picking up the weapon?

I had to use vocalizer to make them pick up the GL but the bot changed back to SMG after a moment. I guess that this is due to Vanilla AI?

@smilzo I see. I thought that was the case because you mentioned about the M60 and GL in the weapon preference file in the previous comments. I tested on my end again where I had all bots have T2 weapons like SMG and Pump shotgun. I then spawned both M60 and GL. All bots rushed for the M60 (example: bot Nick ditch SMG for M60), but they are not bothered about the GL.

@Zero_hunter there is no such a thing as preference file. This mod changes the tier of the GL and M60 from 3 to 2 so the vanilla bots will consider picking them up like any other T2 weapon but whether the bots will pick them up or not is up to their vanilla AI.

Hi, can you tell where is the file for weapon preference in this mod? The bots usually don't automatically pick up the M60 or Grenade Launcher, unless I use vocalizer to make them pick up.
