Janus is a mulit-role SV, built to handle both mining & salvaging, while also staying within the Reforged Eden block limits.

Here are the key features of Janus:
- Over 1 kt of lift, forward thrust, and reverse thrust, available at spawn.
- 6 Laser Mining Drills
- 6 Industrial Multitools
- 3 Open Upgrade slots - Can be used for manual fire weapons, or additional drills/tools if block limits off
- 112k Total Storage Volume - Two 32k Cargo Controllers & Six 8k Harvest Boxes
- Shield & Pentaxid Tank
- Mobile Constructor, O2 Station, Armor Locker, Trauma Station, Fridge, & 3 Passenger Seats
- 1750 Ammo Controller & 2 Minigun Turrets

If using Janus on a planet, be careful when getting off. It will require you to jetpack back on top, which may not be possible in all higher G environments. Janus does have limited carrying capability (at least 150 tons @ 4.5G) on high gravity planets. Since conditions will vary, monitor you statistics when in those environments.

I’m assuming you never build a ship before. The reason is simple. Container controller systems cannot touch, but storage boxes can touch extenders without causing issues. Trying to limit the size, this was the best option.

i have been playing for something like 7-8 years and i personally think you probably have the best variety and quality of builds on steam, form and function are top notch on most of the builds i looked at

That’s awesome! This is something I really looked at during the build phase. I went back & forth on including the cockpit in the middle, vs not. Ultimately decided to keep it on top, but cool to see it in the middle as well. Nice work & thanks for sharing.

Great design mate. Your ship really helped us out in our play through. My friend pulled it in after we downed a Dreadnaught, and we were all so impressed by it we all wanted to know what it was. Our thought was how it'd be to sit in the middle of the drills?
