A Quick Note

This will include both the unlocks (cursors, backgrounds, etc) and the pack unlocks (One ending leads to several more, etc.)

This will be updated as more unlocks pop up for me, so don't be mad pls :c

Cursors

Pen: Looky there, you start with that!
Hand: Complete the Around Town set.
Flashlight: Get 5 Endings.
Key: Complete all Forgot Marketing Endings.
Magic Wand: Complete the Santa Duty set.
Upside-down Cursor: Unsure.
Hotdog on a Fork: Complete the Around Town Hotdog set.
Magnifying Glass: Complete the Detective set.
Sword: Get 70 Endings.
Frog: Complete all of the MOT1000E endings.

Backdrops

Basic: Looky there, you start with that!
Show-Biz: Get 10 Endings.
Orange Hotdog: Complete all the Kyle is Hotdog endings.
Brown Santa: Complete All Kyle was Santa endings.
Black/DarkPurple Detective: Complete all Main Detective endings.
Inverted: Complete all the Interview endings.
Evening Green: Complete the Forgot Hotdog set.
Gaming: Get 30 Endings.
Swirling Delightful: Get 90 Endings.
Frog: Complete the final set, Rachel was Guilty. This includes the last ending, Kyle was Famous.

Trails

None: Looky there, you start with that!
Red: Complete the Forgot Stand set.
Pink: Complete the M:BJTHB set.
Blue/Yellow: Unsure for both, All Mayor Tom's Office Endings seem to have set them both off.
Duck: Get 50 Endings.

Now I just need to figure out where they come in.

Edit 2: Even BIGGER thanks to Duxatious for filling in where they come in. However, it could still be wrong as some things he wasn't sure about. If you see anything that is incorrect, comment right away.

@MeerkatMo, to unlock the Santa route you have get the Kyle Visited the Gummy Bear Land ending.
This requires you to Change Jobs, Become Hotdog Salesman, get the Laser Claymore from behind the locked door, then take it to the Marketing Agency. There you will rummage in the trash, press a button, then insert the Laser Claymore.

The info from my last comment comes courtesy of the developer John Szymanski himself, so I wouldn't say I'm responsible for everything. He's a pretty cool guy, so you can probably ask him anything about his game and he'd happily answer.

Here are the things you can unlock, according to my last playthrough.
Asking for a Free Sample at the Tech Store - Broken Phone (in-game item), unlocks the Kyle Wasn't Helpful ending.
Kyle Pretended to Die - 5 endings?
Kyle prepared very well - more world options.
Kyle had Massive Amnesia - Showbiz Background
All The Interview - Inverted Experience
Kyle Was Bored - Hotdog content, Hand Cursor
All Around Town - Hand Cursor
Kyle Sold Some Hotdogs - Checkered Gaming Background
All Kyle Is Hotdog - Hotdog Background
Kyle Helped the Elves - Santa content
