I was literally stuck on this puzzle for like 20 minutes, eventually gave up and decided to look through the community and see what's going on, came across this almost immediately, thank you.

look up the playthrough of "A Jolly Wangcore" his Superliminal part 2 playthrough and he was streaming on Twitch so the ENTIRE GAME, Chat had been saying how he was going to get stuck on the puzzle. until he did THIS.
