The Halberd was developed as a long range warship able to work all by itself to hold territory. For this is was equipped with full self sustaining capabilities, with refineries, assemblers and hangar room for auxilary craft.

Halberd class Light Cruisers would often act as the capital vessel in small fleets due to being a well rounded warship. During combat the Halberd is best kept at distance, using its best weaponry, its massive fighter compliment.

Eight Altos launched within seconds can knockout or seriously damage the largest enemy warships.


Description

The Halberd class Light Cruiser is a well rounded vessel, intended to be able to sustain itself and crew for long periods of time in deep space.

It can carry eight Alto class fighters in its drop hangar as well as auxilary craft in its cargo bay.

It has three assemblers and three basic refineries, a medbay, jump drives and crew quarters for a comfortable stay.

Flies on hybrid ion/hydro and is powered by a large reactor and/or five engines.
