Introduction
This guide will provide solutions for all puzzles of Bonfire Peaks. So far 98% is covered:
  • all 126 bonfire puzzles on the main campaign
  • the final four overworld puzzles to reach the summit (at the end of the guide)
  • all 68 bonfire puzzles on side paths
There are only four overworld puzzles left and they will be added over the coming days. If you're looking for any of these I'm afraid you'll have to check back later...

Should you find any errors, as I'm sure you will, please drop a line in the comments. The devs have also changed a couple of bonfire puzzles since release and may still do so in the future so if the guide is not up to date, please let me know. Thanks!
Manual
You can find the bonfire puzzle you're looking for by its title. Check the index on the right for the letter you're interested in.

Each puzzle contains the following data:
  • Puzzle title
  • Entry screenshot
  • Solution instructions
  • Spoiler-hidden exit screenshot
The exit screenshot is taken one step before the crate of belongings hits the flames.

As to the instructions, each dash indicates the manipulation of one crate by grabbing it, moving it and letting go off it again as well as the path to this crate if necessary. Given that there are other ways of manipulating items in Bonfire Peaks one dash can include multiple manipulations of objects but each dash covers only one manipulation through carrying a crate. Hopefully that still faciliates following the instructions.

The characters used in the instructions have the following meaning:

The last four characters do not require any action but merely serve as an indication that the last action caused the avatar to travel on a stream.
Finally please note that in the default setting all direction keys have double functions in that they can cause the avatar to turn on the spot or to move to the next position. Pay close attention to the effect of each key press because it happened to me often that a single key press caused a turn and a move which will lead to all sorts of chaos with the remaining instructions. The simplest way to prevent this problem is to only tap each key as shortly as possible.

Overworld: Final Path to Summit Puzzles
In order to finish the game the crate of belongings should be brought all the way up to the summit. Since there are no clearly defined entrances to or exits from the puzzles on the path to the summit, please pay close attention to the positioning of the avatar and puzzle items in the entry screenshots. They depict the required layout for the directions to work.

Note that the exit screenshots are taken one step before the puzzle is "solved", meaning the next and final action of the instructions is going to increase your puzzle count. That also means that the directions can be followed back to back all the way up to the summit because exiting one puzzle equals entering the next one.

SECTIONS
For the purposes of this guide a section on the path to the summit consists of all connected subsections that have no restrictions in terms of moving crates around. That means that a section ends where there are vertical bars that prevent you from moving a crate from one area to the next. The only exception to this is the final section 12 that technically consists of four sections. But since these sections add up to one aggregate puzzle they are considered as one Section with four subsections.

As detailed in the following chapters sections are divided into subsections. A subsections is defined as an area that can only be left by use of one or more crates. That means each time a crate is required to move forward you are leaving one subsection and entering a new one.

As shown in the following table, there are 12 sections on the path to the summit. They contain a total of 126 bonfire puzzles on the main path as well as 68 bonfire puzzles on side paths. On top of that there are eight overworld puzzles, five of which are on the main path to the summit. That sums up to a puzzle count of 202 which means 100% completion of the game.

It should be UULL DGUU RLDD LLG instead of UURR DGUU RLDD LLG

UURR makes you run into the wall for no reason. Thanks for the guide!
