What is a Wiki Cap?
The Wiki cap is an all-class cosmetic awarded to valuable contributors to the Official Team Fortress Wiki. It resembles a police officer's cap, except team-colored and has a Tf2 logo on it. You can visit the wiki here: http://wiki.teamfortress.com/ .
How to contribute.
First, you must create an account for the wiki. Then, customize your user page. This shows you are actually going to contribute and work. (Note: getting on is a long time investment). Then, wander around, you're much more likely to find a outdated piece.
What to contribute.
If you look around and find a "red link", FIX IT! IT IS PRIORITY ONE!!! Red links are articles that do not exist, which means someone made a link that goes to NOWHERE AT ALL! To fix it, click on the red link. It will say this article does not exist. Edit it so that it does lead somewhere.

Next, update any outdated things. The community and anti strategy is where this is most likely found.
Now what?
Just keep doing it. Wiki Caps are awarded to active, contributing members. Be nice, help new members, and other contributions. You might just get lucky!
Thanks for reading this guide!
I hope this guide is useful to you. If this guides gets you a Wiki Cap, then say so in the comments. Comment if you have any ideas, corrections, or others tips! Thanks for reading :)!
Message from a staff member
A staff member from the wiki has commented on my guide. I found the comment helpful and shall put his comment here: "I'm Lagg, one of the staff. While I appreciate anything that can bring in useful editors you should really fix a few things. Namely the part about the userpage. We've already got a bunch of people creating worthless pages like "hai I'm joejohn and I want to contribute". Also I suggest adding a few links to get people started. Namely the tasks[wiki.teamfortress.com] and wanted[wiki.teamfortress.com] pages. I also sugest making it clear that the pages created to fix red links need to be useful. If you create a page that is redlinked with "huhuhuhuh this is a page" it's not only useless but harmful to those looking to make a good page because they can no longer find it via red link." . Thank you Lagg for the help, if any other staff members would like to comment, please post it.
