This guide is a collection of starting recipes, which also points out the lowest cost recipes for every effect by being sorted by cost.

Effects from this guide: Healing, Poisoning, Light, Frost, Fire, Mana, Sleep, Fast Growth, Lightening, Slow down, Magical Vision, Rich harvest, Stone skin, Explosion, Bounce, Berserker, Charm, Libido. (maybe I will add others later)

The cost is calculated by the normal trade price of the used materials. (check the prices here https://potion-craft.fandom.com/wiki/Ingredients)

The recipes are surely not complete, but try to have the best profit. If you have recipes with a greater profit, let me know.

@chemicalvamp if you need a strenght potion just make one with one mudshroom fully grind it all the way. Stir until you reach the ver y tip of the whirlpool and pump air until you teleport then stir more and viola

Oh. Nevermind, I just realised this is heavily outdated and lots of things have moved around.

The fire potion can be reduced to only 3 fire blooms by fully grinding the first one, grinding the second one ~87%, and grinding the third ~58%. It will land almost exactly on perfect but needs a couple drops of water to be tier 3. The grinds must be EXTREMELY precise because it's almost pixel perfect.

You'll know it's right when the cursor lands slightly left of the fire symbol. Stir to line it up with the water line, then add a TINY amount of water.

Strong bounce: windbloom-waterbloom-windbloom-whirl-windbloom-lumpy beet.
Cheapaer than using the shadow chanterelle.

hat are the customers asking for when they ask for a potion of strength? none of the guides mention a potion of strength.

I have strong Berserker with 5 firebell and 4 windbloom (196 gold). Start by fully grinding 3 firebells. Then mostly grind a windbloom. Then fully grind a firebell. Another windbloom, about half ground. The last firebell fully ground. Another windbloom fully ground and finish with a windbloom, ground or not, up to you. I fully grind the last one so I get 2 chances to line it up right for water.

I personally focus on recipes for every strong potion with just the cardinal direction ingredients. So just windbloom, waterbloom, terraria, and firebell. I have discovered that strong Necromancy is possible with just 8 terraria and 6 waterbloom. You can do rich harvest with 1 terraria and 7 waterblooms. First terraria unground and then 6 waterblooms mostly ground so they each slightly nudge up. Last waterbloom doesn't need to be ground.
