Not exactly the same thing, but for 1.5 you can try https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3378091537 . There is an option to exclude animals from auto slaughter, although generally the improvements should make it work reasonably in most cases without any explicit handling.

Since no one has asked yet, Will this be updated to 1.5? I used this mod a lot, it made auto salughter have less mico managmemt

Bard of Hearts - Have you tried upping the number to be slaughtered by one?

I like the idea of this mod. But it kinda clashes with the autoslaughter function a bit. If you have 2 cows and have it set to maintain only 1. Meanwhile, you've selected the one you want kept and set the "Not this one" up, they will just never slaughter the other bull, ever. They want to slaughter the oldest one first and can't because of this mod. But they never move on to slaughter the next one in line.

So, this mod doesn't really work as intend it seems. Any chance this can get fixed?
