This guide will have spoilers for the game. I'd highly recommend playing through the game first, killing at least one Skinwalker. You have been warned.

These are achievements that you'll get over time if you play the game normally.


Deal damage to the skinwalker


Find a shotgun

You must find two broken shotguns to craft a working one.



Kill 10 enemies with a shotgun


Hunt down the skinwalker without saving game progress.

This one is stressful, but you can pair it with "Not Today" to get two done at once
UPDATE: looks like this one was removed from the achievement list, but I'll leave it up here just in case it gets added back. Maybe it was bugged, who knows.


Hunt down and kill the skinwalker without dying


Clean the old double-barreled shotgun using a gun cleaning kit



Kill 20 enemies with a silenced rifle



Kill 5 creatures using the tomahawk


Destroy 3 skinwalker totems



Touch an ancestor spirit

If you see a white ghost, sprint towards it with no hesitation



Make 35 headshots

Citation needed, but I think whacking something in the face with the tomahawk also counts as a headshot


Kill a worshiper

Simple enough, right? Wait until they're running in a straight line directly at you and empty your shotgun into their faces. Headshots do big damage, and their dead body heals you fully. If you're completely out of ammo or you have bad aim (like me) smack them with the tomahawk, and they'll force-push you away, preventing you from taking damage.

Craft a bear trap from parts of two broken bear traps


Locate 3 skinwalker footprints



Kill 5 skinwalkers

Make them fear you


Scare animals away with a red flare 3 times


Find and take 50 items


Consume 10 healing plants



Hunt down the skinwalker with "Hide my position on map" enabled

This one is tough but doable. Use the compass on your HUD, and if you're truly lost then place a bear trap to see where you are.


Attack a skinwalker that is disguised as a dog

One of the best ways to tell if it's a skinwalker is if you're tracking it, the skinwalker icon will be stationary and hovering over the dog



Drink a hunter potion

You automatically craft these after harvesting five snake venom

Kill 5 bears


Kill 30 bears


Kill 5 boars


Kill 30 boars


Kill 5 deer


Kill 20 deer


Kill an owl


Kill 10 owls

They hoot when they fly overhead, so listen out for them.


Kill 3 snakes


Kill 5 wolves


Kill 30 wolves


Hunt down 50 animals


Kill an owl, snake, boar, wolf, bear, and deer


Kill the possessed crow that's flying towards you

You can only kill it while it's in the air, and it's got a tiny hit box. Spray and pray with the shotgun. Good luck.

Kill the skinwalker in Longwind Valley

You can find this in the lake at the center of the map




Catch 3 fish

You can also find the fish in the lake in the center of the map. Dive in and Skyrim those bad boys up.




Enter the skinwalker's cave in Longwind Valley

It's located in the top left corner of the map, on the same hill as the glowing red signal tower.






Cook 25 pieces of meat.

At the moment this is only possible on the Longwind Valley Map, since the only other map is the Chernobyl map and you can't cook meat in that one. You can use pre-existing fires at campsites to cook meat. Now doable on Hurlant Castle as well!


Put on the deer man mask

Kill the skinwalker in Chernobyl forest


Find the weird looking mushroom in Chernobyl forest.

It's pretty easy to spot from a distance because it glows bright green. Be careful about getting too close tho



Find the radiation resistance kit.

It's usually located at one of the bigger locations around the map, however it can be hard to find.



Find and shoot the creepy nailhead doll in the Chernobyl forest level.

Remember that creepy doll from Witch Hunt? It's back. At least this time you can shoot it. It's located on the pylons in the bottom left corner of the map (the one my crosshair is right above)

Kill the skinwalker in the Hurlant Castle level

I've found it several times in the structure at the center of the map. There's usually a cursed crow sitting on its head that will fly at you and attack you. Pretty easy to find.



Find the skinwalker cave on Hurlant Castle level

It's in the top right corner of the map against the wall. Step inside the cave to get the achievement.




Discover all dead human bodies on the Hurlant Castle level.

They're scattered all over the map, either along the roads or in/near structures. There is one body in the skinwalker's cave (see above)


Shoot the white sphere in the sky on the Hurlant Castle level

The white sphere only shows up for me on the road to Black Phillip's shrine in the upper right corner of the map. It's hard to hit, so I make sure to save before triggering it, as it only happens once per game. It makes a loud sound when approaching, so you'll have time to turn and look at it.

This map is unlocked by finding the Dream Potion in the Hurtlant Castle map. The Dream Potion glows bright yellow, and I found it in one of the major structures on the map. Like an eager fool, however, I grabbed it before taking a screenshot so sorry about that.

Once you grab the potion, you can instantly go back to the menu screen and play on the new map (unless you haven't beaten Hurtlant Castle yet).

If you played Witch Hunt, this map will be very familiar (and nostalgic) to you. It's a very tough challenge because you can't save your game on this map so be prepared, but enjoy.


Find the book of the dead.

It's located in the safe in the house by the lake. You can find the combination for the safe at one of the key locations around the map, such as in the foggy zone or the tents by the small lake.




Become the ultimate hunter.
