German forces try to set up a way to cross the river but are unsuccessful due to heavy losses. There is a manpower shortage but mainly the problem is having no ammunition for the armor and heavy gun. There are simply not enough resources to keep pushing in a lighting war.

Based on the first 5 days of the battle of the Ardennes. From December 16 to December 21, 1944.

Events: German forces securing the river try to set up a way to cross but are finding difficulty dealing with American mortar positions. The American infantry on the other side have also dug deep positions on the other bank and can fire across. The enemy armor and anti-tank presence are also immense.
