Why this guide?

This was the last achievement I needed.
It is easy to find out what is needed for this achievement, but I never found a picture of what “a cat in a tree” looks like in this game.
So I made this simple guide for everyone as a reference.

How did I get the achievement

Get Meowtta Here
Rescue 5 cats with your chopper.

(Official) Achievement Description:
In the real-life cities you can find black cats in trees and save them with your fire station helicopter. It seems they are on some sort of timer and you can find more than 1 in a city.

What I did:

[1.] Choose one of the "real" cities. I chose San Francisco.

[2.] Build a fire station with a helipad

[3.] Build a lot of trees around the fire station (both green and coloured work) and remove all trees outside your visibility

[4.] Wait for cats and rescue them by sending your firefighter chopper. When I did it the cats spawned every 1-2 minutes, so just wait a little.

Just completed this. Agree with the "cats do not seem to spawn when level is complete". Cats spwan four times within 10 minutes. (I don't known when I did the first one during missions)

The important bit I struggled with - cats do not seem to spawn when level is complete. If levels are completed, reset and start from scratch - Paris seems to be the easiest one for this.

When all trees are concentrated around Fire Station with Helipad there is no need to really aim the helicopter. When it goes up, cats with a rather large radius are automatically brought down (along with the 10k bonus it brings).

I'm not sure it works correctly. I got the achievement without rescuing a single cat. I got the first one on I have no idea and then I got four on micronation which didn't even have trees. I've never seen a cat.

I also have planted a few trees in san fran but cats never showed up in like 10 minutes. Did something change in the game? When I became aware of this achivement I had a look out for cats during my playthrough but never saw even one.
