𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
– This guide *will not* be of use to you if your account is not setup with mobile auth, you don’t have more than 50 hours played on CS:GO, and/or you’re vac banned, obviously.
– You will also need a steam account that is leveled up to 10+, because you’re going to need at least one free showcase slot.

𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗲:
– We’re going to be going through some steam settings, some profile settings changes, as well as some things inside of CS:GO itself we can check/change.

– To start, we’re going to head over to the “Steam” tab in the top left hand corner when you’re just sitting on steam. You can then click on “Settings”. Next, click on “Family”, and make sure “Authorize library sharing on this computer” is UNCHECKED. I’m not sure why, but for whatever reason when a couple friends and I tested the “tricks” in this guide and we got to this one, leaving it off seemed to help.
– Next, head to the “In-Game” tab, which is also in Steam > Settings. Go to “Chat Filtering”, and set it so it says “Currently set to filter strong profanity and slurs from everyone except friends”. Then look for “Steam Networking”, and change it from Default (which is never), to “Friends Only”.

(𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽𝘀)
– Head to your profile and click “Edit Profile”, to start we’re going to setup some *not required* stuff, but nonetheless helps in raising your Trust Factor. Click on “Featured Badge”, and set a random one, it doesn’t matter which one it is, just display one. Then, go to “Favorite Group” and again, set any random group to showcase on your profile. Next, can you believe it, we’re going to “Featured Showcase” and typically, I tell people to use the “Items Showcase” if you have items for CS. If not, you can choose whatever showcase you want.
– Now select “Privacy Settings”. For “My basic details” set that to public. “My profile” set it to public. Your trust factor is going to move as slow as a turtle if you keep your profile private. Also helps to prove you’re not a cheater. “Game details” can be set to whatever you want, I typically keep mine on Private. “Friends list” can also be set on whatever you want. Here’s the big one, “Inventory”. I know a lot of people hate dealing with the CS bots, but for the love of Christ, set it to “Public”. This is probably the biggest one my friends and I found whilst testing these. For the last one, “Can post comments on my profile”, I’d set it to “Public” if your account is brand new, to build up some +reps and comments, but if you already have a good amount of comments it can be set to whatever you fancy.
