Old Noita

The Noita has come to Rivals of Aether, bringing with them an endless assortment of spells and potions to baffle the opposition.

The Noita as a whole is fairly complicated, so if you want to learn more, here's a basic description of all their abilities:

It is recomended that if you want to fully understand The Noita's Abilities, you read the above document, but if you want something a bit shorter, here is the basic info:

+ Levitation: The Noita’s signature flying abilities are carried over from the original game. It can allow for great freedom in one's movement, but is limited by it being your only normal means of recovery. Levitation is shown with the orange meter.

+ Randomized Load-outs: Every stock The Noita receives a different set of Spells and Items to toy with. These vary wildly, and no match will ever be quite the same because of them.

+ Spells: Instead of normal specials, The Noita can shoot one of three spells in multiple directions (to swap spells press Taunt). Spells each have cooldowns, which are shown with the green meter. The first two spells will be pulled from a more ordinary list, while the third slot contains a more unique option!

+ The Shop & Modifiers: Down Special while on the ground (or on the respawn platform) allows The Noita to open a shop. In this shop they can purchase a number of Modifiers for their wands (which when purchased show up in slots next to the selected wand). Mods can completely change how The Noita plays, but disappear on death. Additionally, Modifiers cost Gold to buy, which can be acquired by hitting enemies with basic attacks. Mods are separated into three categories, Speed, Stats, and Misc.

+ Debuffs & Items: Another unique feature of The Noita is their assortment of debuffs, which each have interactions with each other. These are mostly accessible via their Strongs, which throw out one of two items from The Noita's inventory (swap between these items with neutral special). A special note is that for the liquid debuffs, they have a Density value which determines if you will float or sink in other liquids.

+ Perks: The last of Noita's unique abilities, each time The Noita dies they will be given a Perk from the platform. These perks can range in effects, but allow the player far greater customization of The Noita's kit.

The Noita has compatibility with the Tutorial Buddy in case you want to see some of these things in action (though it is a bit outdated as of now).

BASIC INFO FOR FIGHTING NOITA:

1: If you are on Fire, don't touch the brown liquid. If you are covered in Oil (the brown liquid debuff), don't touch the red fire aura.
2: If you are shocked, don't touch a liquid!
3: If you touch the light blue liquid you will be teleported based on which direction you input (or by which direction you are moving if in hitstun).
4: If you don't understand what is going on read the complete guide or... a d a p t.
