Beskrivning
King's Compact Solar Panels contains new solar panels in angled 1x1 & flat: 1x1, 2x1 & 2x4 panel sizes, large and small grid. Just as powerful as their counterparts. Comes in amber and black as well as traditional blue, for only 1 PCU

Thumbnail(s) compares new blocks to vanilla solar panels, so speaking scale of the 2x1 model: 2:1 large grid, 5:1 small grid. In other words, you can fit 4 large 2x1 new panels in place of the vanilla large grid one and 25 small 2x1 panels in place of the vanilla small grid solar panel.

More variety of panels coming soon!

This is still being developed, if you notice anything wrong let me know..

Shout out to BloodHawk2373, who was inspired by my new flat thrusters and requested smaller solar panels... and here they are!

UPDATE 11/25/2021 - new 1x1 paintable small grid flat and angled panels, no lights, high performance low-poly models

UPDATE 10/18/2021 - fixed hitboxes on angled solar panels, fixed mirroring on all panels except 2x4 which ill be fixed in a future update

UPDATE 10/13/2021 - fixed mirroring with angled panels

UPDATE: 10/2/2021 - added 45 degree angled 1x1 panels

No part of this mod may be used in any other mod without my consent

Pretty cool mod I've been using these instead of armor panels for my vehicles. Less PCU and you get electricity. Would like a 3x1 model as well.

@Twoni I have a couple requests in the queue for this mod, I will keep this suggestion under consideration when I get time to get back to this mod. I've been recovering from major surgery and have a huge backlog of things I need to finish first. Thanks for the suggestion.

Thank you for the awesome mod. Any chance to make a small grid version that is 1x1 with the width of a Vanilla Light Armor Panel?

Same power produced by all size panels on the same size grid... This way you don't have to worry about getting the math right... these were made more for the look and compacting the space required for solar power systems then trying to realistically scale them... For instance: small grid vanilla is 5x10 (50 blocks) I didn't want to reduce the power down that much... defeats the purpose of what I was going for.

And as for the request of making vanilla panels more colorful, I have a lot of catching up to do with the new DLC, etc... been away from modding for a while. But I will keep it on the list.

I second Caspollo's request for adding the new colors to the vanilla panels.

When you say, "Just as powerful as their counterparts," does that mean these smaller panels have the same output as the bigger vanilla panels? Or are they balanced against the vanilla panels?

Thanks for the feedback, never thought about recoloring the vanilla panels... Maybe down the road... I'll add it in the nice to have column.

Love how the amber solar panels look! Any posibility to ever get a normal solar panel with the amber texture?
