By making your workers only able to access the maintenance room through the bathroom like shown below,

your workers will have to walk through your bathroom before heading to any other part of your compound, so you'll never have to worry about broken toilets or sinks again!

Or a way simpler and easier solution is to have a night janitor, as in 1 guy who sleeps during part of the day instead of at night 1 person with high planning is perfect, as they can fix all the broken objects and plan a daily mission in covert ops before everyone wakes up.
