The doppler directory
By oJo and 1 collaborators
Hi! this is the doppler directory, this guide is supposed to be the one stop shop for all doppler information. :)

p.s: We are well aware that there is alot of doppler guides out there, however non of them go into full detail about all of the niche and special patterns,

We are well aware this is a very basic and not complete guide, we want to release the base version of it and see what the community thinks of the layout of the guide, we're slowly gonna add more and more items to it and try to keep it as updated as possible, due to us being a 2 man team it takes quite alot of time to go through every single pattern for a knife, incase youre interested in helping/contributing in this guide, go ahead and contact me or pengo on steam or discord,

Also this guide is not a list of patterns, this is made as a guide to identify the tier of a pattern, due to us not wanting to go through over 50000 patterns , okay ps over :)

This guide is supposed to be a place for people to know more about dopplers, brand new trader or even a veteran with a inventory above 5 digits, you could probably find something helpful here.

Incase the guide wasnt helpful, please leave a comment! were happy to take critisism :)

Karambit doppler phase 1

The phase 1, the common, unliked and unpopular phase, the little brother of the phase 2 some might say, but in some peoples eyes, the underdog, because with it you can get some pretty unique patterns! Some people dont just like a pink or blue knife, they want some uniqness, maybe a... black and pink knife!

Fake blackpearl

Note: A real fake black pearl must have both sides with as minimal amount of purple as possible, something like a playside fake black pearl is considered market and doesnt get any overpay.

If the backside looks like this:

Its a regular phase 1 and is market

Half and Half pattern

These are phase 1's with max pink, not as popular as something like a phase 2, however much cheaper and can be found for market pretty commonly, plus if you want something unique they will definetally fit!

Regular phase 1

Karambit doppler phase 2

The Phase 2, ah yes, the one and only. The most popular non-gem phase. A very beautiful knife that wont break the bank.

At the top of the chain, we have the T1 phase 2. Max pink, pink galaxy, whatever you want to call it. For a karambit, the way to identify a max pink is that the pink stretches from corner to tip, otherwise its not a T1!

T1 Karambit phase 2/pink galaxy

Notes about Tier 1:
small warning, alot of people expect alot of overpay for these, more then theyre truly worth, id personally check buff to see similar patterns and what they cost, they're decently common. If you were to look at the karambit phase 2 patterns on the cs.money wiki you would be able to find quite a lot of them and very quickly. To some people they are worth over market, to others theyre not if, you can spend an extra like $30/200 rmb to get a decently pink one, (price may be incorrect due to market fluctuation)

T2 karambit phase 2/regular phase 2

The T2! right at the middle of the pack, absolute market, just a phase 2, not much special about it, though not special doesn't mean not beautiful.

Notes about T2/Regular:
These are just regular ol' phase 2's, worth market. If you see someone calling this a "max pink" go ahead and call them out and link them to this guide! Sometimes people confuse normal phase 2s for max pinks due to how common they are with well... a lot of pink.

T3 karambit phase 2/Half and Half

The tier 3, don't get me wrong, tier 3 does not mean they're bad, they're just less popular and usually cost under market. Why? Because it just looks like a phase 1 in most peoples eyes. And why pay phase 2 prices to get a phase 1 knife?

Notes about T3/half and half:
if you like this kind of knife, you are in an amazing position! you can find them for market or even under market very commonly. Most people don't like them, even though they're rarer than they think. Though, in most peoples eyes this is a glorified phase 1, so you've been warned! It might be a little hard to trade this knife.
Karambit doppler phase 3
Phase 3. The real underdog. Most people don't like it. Why? Because its just a worse phase 4, nothing is special about it. Only one small detail some people miss on the P3 though.

T1 Phase 3/max blue

Ah, the tier 1 phase 3, a very beautiful knife. It's almost entirely blue! It's more blue (I think) then on the play side of a max phase 4. Is it more expensive? No, the most I've seen them for is 300 rmb over market (45 usd)

How to know if yours is a tier 1: if the blue isn't cut off by the corner nor the tip its considered a tier 1.

T2 Phase 3/BTA blue

Tier 2, in my opinion, is just as, if not even more beautiful then a t1! It's a half blue half black karambit doppler, very beautiful. What's good about this over a t1? More common so its easier to find them with clean corners! They're also usually about 250 rmb over market (around 40$) which is cheaper than T1.

How to know if yours is a tier 2: more then 40% of the blade is blue but the blue is cutoff by the tip.

T3 Phase 3/regular

Tier 3's, just regular ol' phase 3's, cost absolutely market, pretty basic, one thing you should look out for in tier 3's are full black play sides/decent blue tips, a phase 3 cant be a fake black pearl due to the backside always having a little blue, however unlike phase 1's, the play side can be completely black with a little green. (Small warning, its pretty hard to find max blue tier 3's for market, and if they're for market they sell pretty quickly).

Max blue tier 3:

Full black play side phase 3:

Karambit doppler phase 4

The phase 4, the middle of the pack, more expensive then the regular phase 1/3 but not as expensive as a phase 2, in my opinion, one of the more balanced knife for the price

T1 Phase 4

screenshot 1 goes here

Note:
these are quite expensive (around 650 rmb over market for a regular kara doppler, or 450 rmb over market for a p4) if you wanna spend less, buy a max blue phase 3, only difference being that the playside on the p4 has a little more blue and the backside on the p4 is almost entirely blue

how to know if your phase 4 is a tier 1:
The blue should stretch all the way from the tip to the corner+some blue starts coming out of the opposite side to the corner (its hard to see in the image but theres a small blue line thats a very dark blue that reachest the corner, its much easier to see this in top down views in pattern viewers like csmoney wiki, sharkbay bots, buff ect)

T2/BTA Phase 4

Note:
these usually cost more then a max blue phase 3, and have less blue on the playside

how to know your phase 4 is a tier 2/bta pattern? aslong as its got more then 30% blue, its a bta/t2 pattern (better then average)

T3/average pattern 4

Note:
This is on the worst the of a T3/average, however most t3s will look similar (looks like less blue because not in light)

EXTRA

Max Phase 4

Note:
These are VERY rare, (about 5% of phase 4's) and can get pretty pricy (dont have an exact price due to them not selling alot, but ive seen them sell for around 1000 rmb over market, or about 150 usd)

how to know if your phase 4 is a max:

there is blue all the way down to the corner, and there is blue starting from the other side, only a small portion in the bottom half of the blade is black and around 90%~ of the knife is blue

Karambit gamma doppler phase 2

The Phase 2, ah yes, the one and only. The most popular non-gem phase. A very beautiful knife that wont break the bank.

T1 Karambit gamma phase 2/

Notes about Tier 1:
tier 1 and tier 2 are basically identical, theyre just as common and both cost the same

how to know if you have a tier 1: almost 0 black and entirely even green

T2 karambit gamma phase 2/regular gamma phase 2

Notes about T2/Regular:
its a regular p2 gamma lol, not much going on

Karambit gamma doppler phase 3
Karambit gamma doppler phase 3, Pengo's personal favorite, not a very popular phase so you can get them relatively cheap (for a karambit doppler). For this phase there's only one really desirable trait, the more cyan the better. (Huge thanks to CptnKraken for going through the patterns and finding the best ones )!

According to his guide, there's 2 main categories that max cyan P3s fall under. Delta and sigma, according to the shape of the cyan ending.

Sigma max cyan:             Delta max cyan:

The patterns are purely preference, as the amount of cyan practically the same.

Tier 1 Sigma

Karambit gamma doppler phase 4

The phase 4, the least popular phase other then Phase 1 (but nobody likes phase 1 gamma doppler lol) mostly known for the lime gems, however it holds one little secret that most people dont know about, the max colors and cyan dominates, the phase 4 can also have a black+cyan knife, only difference being that the phase 4 has a slightly brighter and shinier cyan then the phase 3.

T1 Lime phase 4

Note:
These are usually the most expensive phase 4's, as theyre the most well known phase 4 pattern, expect decently big overpay if you have one.

how to know if your phase 4 is a t1:
if there is 0 cyan on the knife and only black and lime its a tier 1

T2/average

Note:
These are usually found pretty commonly for market, because yknow theyre average patterns

how to know you have a average pattern:
if it has some cyan on the tip and its usually a average pattern

Max cyan phase 4

Note:
These are pretty uncommon and hard to obtain, though in my opinion very nice, one of the annoying part is it still has a little bit of green, though its brighter then the regular phase 3

how to know if your phase 4 is a max:
if its almost entirely cyan and has a lil green and black

It would be way better if you say some patterns for tier 1 skins so we know easily if it's a T1 skin or not
