Random Information for new players
By Groundwalker
Hi so my friends and I have been playing this for a few hours at this point and have asked the developer a couple of questions too, I just felt like sharing a little bit of this information might make your curiosities be satisfied.

Some of this might be obvious but it was not immediately obvious to us while starting out as new players.

I'll definitely be including some spoilers to game play that might be fun for you to figuire out by yourself so move along if that doesn't sound like fun to you.

General - Start up
I'm sure by this point you've at least opened the game or tried to play so you may be looking for a couple more options that you may have missed. Well at least i did first few times around.

When you start a new game there is an option to play Tournament at the top of your screen, but to the left or right of that there are other game modes.
Under each of these modes you can play exclusively one of each of the 5 types of game; Ninja, items etc. and they are named as such.

At this point there is no option for a custom tournament which would be a massive added bonus for instance to be able to play only ninja and lasers for as many rounds as you've selected.
This means that tournament at this early stage will choose a random order of the 5 modes, and if you play less than 6 rounds it doesn't seem to repeat so you will get all 5 in 5 rounds, its our favourite way to play in our friend group.

*Note.
We have only played with couch co-op/split-screen on my TV linked to my PC so no idea about online/VPN play sorry unable to help
"Jokers" what are these?
Have a look at the top right of the screen when starting a new match

Have you ever noticed the option "joker"

My friends and I noticed that sometimes the AI/NPC people would sometimes move in odd ways that made them look like players which we thought was the "Joker" setting we were messing with. Stutter stepping or bumping into other AI's/players. (normally all AI's mesh through players and AIs so when this doesn't happen it looks odd)

Anyway i asked the developer and it turns out its the number of innocent kills you are able to do before you get executed.

There are 4 options for "Joker"
Zero/One/Two/Infinite
zero kills allowed, one kill and so on...
Secrets
In this section i'll be giving away a few hidden features and secrets that me and my friends have found just through playing the game.
You may want to skip this if you haven't played the game yet as it will steal some of the fun of exploring yourself.

Lamposts - i'll start off with a few simple things.

There are two of Lampposts and they aren't just part of the background. If you swipe at them and succesfully hit one, the light will go out for a few seconds. Then it will flicker and come back on. If your character is one of the black outfits it will definitely make you harder to spot in a pinch, if you don't have a smoke grenade that is.

NPC's (Non-player Characters)
You can have anywhere from 0 to 40 of these guys, at this point there are 3 types blue girl pink girl and a ninja. Seems pretty random at this point but some round can only have pink and blue girl characters even when in high numbers (including players).
*i'll be adding more to this section later

Interactable background objects

These items marked, like chairs and boxes are again not just part of the backdrop to which you play the game. You can move these as a player, but a big hint; NPC's can't move them. So if you notice the box next to the lamppost moving you know it must be a player.
