This map was made for the HORDE gamemode.
Personally, I enjoy playing this map in NIGHTMARE mode as the berserker class. You can play this in whatever mode you prefer.

BUYZONE IS MARKED BY A GREEN LIGHT!

Features:
AI Nodes (Obviously)
Custom HORDE entities (Enemy spawns, buy zone)
Breakable glass
Some shops have interiors.
Simon the Shopkeeper.

I like the ideas. Might go for the excavation site idea. The laboratory and space ideas sound really cool too.

Some possible map suggestions for creating new maps are:
A swampy area with an old building or two like one of the Killing Floor 1 maps.
A space station in outer space(Can also include being near a moon and/or planet).
A excavation site(Why that? Probably for lore reasons or why not? It could be in a desert, a
jungle area, an ancient town or monument, etc).
Catacombs(If its possible).
A map with an oasis.
And finally probably a laboratory somewhere.

Your mapping skills is great(As in your creation of the map is good).
What are you planing to do next with a map? If so, mind if I make some suggestions?

Kookooboy. You did a great job here, but the enemy spawns do cause the enemies to spawn
in each other to make it too easy to wipe them out.
I though Simon the Shopkeeper would switch out shops like the shopkeeper did in Killing Floor 1.
