BART Classes A/B/C

These are the original sets of trains made for the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) system in San Francisco plus the later additions of the C cars. The A and B cars were introduced with the system opening in 1972 of which the A cars feature streamlined cabs and B cars being powered trailers. Unusually for North America, the system was built to the broad Indian gauge, apparently for added stability during earthquakes.

In the 1980s and 90s the BART ordered more cab cars, but these featured flat-fronted cabs to the same dimensions as a B car in order to make changing the length of trains easier. These became the C1 and C2 cars, which differ only in the interior trim.

With the arrival of the new "Fleet of the Future" D and E cars, the A, B, and C class cars are expected to be retired by 2022.

This mod has 2 versions of the vehicles: a branded BART version (liveried) and an unbranded version with a colourable stripe.

Since the BART's cars are very modular, this mod has a rather complicated setup for the consist.
The default consist is a 10 car train with C cars in the middle:
A-B-B-B-C-C-B-B-B-A
By default, there are C cars at the front and rear set to zero and therefore do not appear in the default consist. Simply set these C cars to 1 and the A cars to 0 to have a C car at either or both ends.
The B and C cars in the middle of the train can also be set to zero. B cars can total to 4 in 2 sections, adding up to 8 in all.
