Cats in Time - Locations for all Postcard Pieces + Achievements guide

This guide lists the locations of all the postcard pieces. Additionally, missable achievements (and how to obtain them) are mentioned for the corresponding levels.
The cats' location will not be featured in this guide, since the game offers a solid hint system - plus you can also skip the puzzles by activating the Kid mode.

Achievements overview
In order to obtain all the achievements, you will need to:
  • collect all the cats and postcards
  • solve a level without using hints
  • solve a level in a short amount of time
  • click on pots to break them (only a few clicks are needed, not all the pots in the game)
  • use the hint system once
  • obtain the level-specific achievements listed below

Conundrum solver
Find the secret level.
Main menu. Since 31 Aug 2021, it can also be unlocked in Kids Mode.


Achievements that can be obtained anytime
Cat finder
Collect all cats on one level.
Speedy
Wow, that was quick!.
Spend a short amount of time solving a level. (the achievement pops up if you finish a level in less than 5 minutes, but it's possible that the threshold is higher)
Relaxed
Do nothing and enjoy the moment.
Idle inside the level for a few seconds, not clicking on anything.
Puzzle veteran
Solve level without any hints.
Demolisher
Destroy everything!
Simply try to click on as many pots as possible inside one level
Puzzle rookie
Everyone needs some help.
Use the hint.

Cat collector
Collect every cat in the game.
Postcards fan
Collect all postcards pieces in the game.

Visit every ancient Egypt location.

1 - The Village
One of the pieces is under a rock, you'll have to first click the rock to move it.


Note: clicking on the painting on one of the outside walls (more precisely, on the head of the right figure) will award you the "Ancient Aliens" achievement.

For the rightmost one from this picture, you'll have to slide the marble plate upwards.
3 - The Port






Note: By using the fishing rod on top of the building you'll obtain a fish and the corresponding "Fisherman" achievement.

Visible only after you solve the windmill puzzle:

Press the button on the side of the building:

Click on the stone first to remove it. The postcard piece is underneath it.

Secret Level
Unlocking the secret level and entering it will award the "Conundrum solver" achievement.

Find the secret level.

What to do in order to unlock it is described below under spoiler tags.

Go to the menu and set up the numbers (and pressure dials) like so, then press the yellow button:


Hints for the code can be found in the same room, on the panel with the postcards (some of them have numbers, the others show the correct configuration for the dials).

Inside the level, you will need one extra code to solve one of the puzzles. This is shown on the bottom right postcard: 2332.

@Dyveke I noticed that with Pilot, if you have already done the puzzle and not waited long enough, you have to restart to be allowed to wait on the drone again. For anyone who didn't get Pilot when playing the level, restart it and make sure to get Pilot before doing anything else.

@Floofie: nope, all three are marked on the images, but perhaps the bottom one is less visible than the others because of overlapping with the UI.

@Dyveke I was having a problem with the secret level too. It worked for me once I collected ALL the cats.

Can´t unlock the secret level with code, or click on the drone to get the pilot achievement? Do somebody know why?
