Functional RDF antenna

Current version: 1.2.5

Functional RDF antenna makes the RDF antenna on the conning tower mobile again!

The antenna, which spends most of its time lowered, is controlled automatically to rise when you are decoding transmissions and to lower when the decoding is done. A manual override switch (reached by clicking on the radio room icon) is provided where you can raise or lower it according to your wishes. If you submerge or click the “resume auto behaviour” button, the antenna will lower and resume its automated behaviour.
Following release of the game this mod now directly includes custom actions so the mod Custom Actions is not required anymore.

This mod is save game compatible. Please note it will not remember the status of the antenna on loading if you were previously manually controlling it; the default lowered behaviour will restart.

Thanks to Cursed Jäger, Polosek, BeeTLe BeTHLeHeM, Tokyo, and Hard for, respectively, the German, Polish, Italian, Turkish, and Russian localisations. French localisation by yours truly.

First off, this is NOT a antenna for receiving messages. It is a Radio Direction Finder used to locate radio signals.

The antennas on a U-Boat are the cables that lead from the top of the conning tower forward to the bow and from the conning tower to the stern.

It still works for me when messages are coming in, it raises then retracts after. But I do see it down a good amount. I adjusted the auto behavior to have it up unless I'm underwater. I also adjusted the deckwash depth check to ensure I can run a decks awash and about a meter past tower in depth it retracts. But I might adjust it to do it before tower clears going under.

For me, the antenna always stays retracted in automatic mode. It only extends when I do it manually. 😕

Note: I didn't start a new save game, but added the mod during an active playthrough.
