Awaken the Gazebo (Achievement) - Step-by-step guide [Beta / v0.21]
By SgtFopper™
This is my first my detailed step-by-step Achievement guide. It describes the way to manage the "Awaken the Gazebo" Achievement in Buried where you have to punch your weapon in the first round without using the weapon locker to change your weapon and the bank to get money from it. It's designed to do it alone. This guide is still in beta.

And now the guide. Have fun!

Western City Part (Beta)
  • First of all: Slide down to the Western City of Buried. You will find the first chalk on the right side at the end; use it.

  • After getting the first chalk, jump down to the left. from there go straight over the small bridge. Turn right and after some meters you see the a hole to the left, jump down. Turn twice and you will see a green key to release Leroy from the prison that brings you $200.

  • Leave the prison and turn left. After some meters turn left again to go upstairs. Then turn left and go straight, jump over one hole and move on. Then turn left and leave the house and cross the small bridge again. Reaching the barn upper level, jump down and turn right. You will see a mine entrance. Pass the mine route (takes about 10-15 seconds) after you have jump over a hole and you will reach the upper part of the Saloon. Take the left way and then go right until you see the a lantern lying on the ground. From this place take a big jump to the other house across from the Saloon (this jump needs some practise to success). On the other side go left where you can see the Mule Kick perk. Go down the ladder to the right and downstairs take another chalk and leave the house on the upper level through the door.

  • The first two chalks ($1000 for every chalk piece) from this place must be used at the prison on the left side and on the right side (where you have to go upstairs).

  • Get the third chalk and use it at the place (around the corner) where you had to take the big jump like you can see in step 3). Use there the chalk.

  • Then get the fourth chalk and start building up the Trample Steam. Take the stairs and turn left where you will find the table to build the Trample Steam. You will find four parts in the General Store - costs $750 to open the door - at the place where you will find the first magic box. Now you have to take & use the Trample Steam. From there head to the upper side where the prison is located, go left and leave the house to enter the first kinda patio. Jump over to the second patio and place now the Trample Steam at the end of the second patio. Wait a moment (the Trample Steam needs to load for some seconds) and use it to jump through the hole in front of you the reach the Speed Cola perk. Go some meters to use your third chalk.

  • Now you have to get the booze for Leroy. There are two possible spots to get it. First one at the prison where Leroy is held at the beginning. (rare case / saves additional $750) Or you will find the booze in the Saloon. Take the way there like descripted in step 3. Jump down to the Saloon and grab the booze (on the table or at the end of the bar) (often case / costs $750). Buy off the obstacle to the stairs and leave the Saloon to the left. Jump down and get Leroy to the church - knive to push him. Go through the candy shop (next to the Saloon entrance) and go right, pass the fountain and in front of the church give him the booze to let him remove the obstacle. That brings you another $400.

  • Go back to get the last chalk. Use the Trample Steam to jump over the obstacle between the candy shop (left) and the General Store (right). After getting the last chalk piece, use it in the church upper level. You will get now $2000 because it's the last one; the preview ones gave you $1000.

Read on the the next chapter "The Ghost House" to go on!
The Ghost House Part (Beta)
  • Before passing the ghost house buy the B23R off the wall outside the gun shop where you have gotten the five chalks inside. This weapon is really useful. Three bullets at the same time and a very fast reloading time.

  • Now the Ghost house part. You need to have at least $6250 ($5000 for punching and $1250 for the Ghost House door). Kill about 4 zombies with some shots to the feet ($10 per shot) and then kniving them to death ($130) to get additional money. Don't shoot him down with an one-hit).

  • To reach the house you have to use your Trample Steam for the last time at the right end of the fence where you can see the passage to jump over.

  • Head to the Ghost House door and open it that costs $1250. Now let's kill the ghosts. It's a very difficult part because every touching (or if you come too close) with a ghost steals you $2000. So be very careful. There are at least 7 ghosts through the part. With the B23R you need just one click (3 bullets) to kill a ghost. Move on to the next ghost to kill it and so on. Another difficulty is that you "aren't allowed to stop because this brings the game to spawn another ghost at the located place).

  • After being successful (Of course this will be a hard way to manage it. Takes some time to practise it - it really helps you.) pass the maze to find the right end to the Gazebo. The right way through the maze is always random. Go down the stairs until you will find the Pack-a-Punch machine. Punch your weapon and voila. Achievement incoming. Congratulations! :)

Did everything step by step from this guide but forgot to turn on the power -.- Then ran back to turn the power on and one witch took 2k from me and then i had to buy booze from saloon and make Leroy to destroy obstacles from distance to get the 2k back. But very good guide!

Another way to get money early on, (If you have the time to do so) is to get The persistant perk that gives you 1,000 points after buying a perk and going prone in front of the perk machine. With The Quick Revive costing only 500, you can gain 500 points right there for free, or down yourself multiple times to use the machine up and get a total of 1,500 Free points.

Very small update (v0.21)
- replaced the word "labyrinth" with "maze". Sounds better!
- replaced the word(s) "that kinda house" with Gazebo. (Obvious troll is obvious! :hee:)
