Looping music and game crashes

During an event, the music may loop, which ends up crashing the game when leaving the event. This is because of a threading issue with the CPU.

Let the game use only one CPU core:

When the game has opened, go to task manager
Go to the details tab
Right click on the game in the list (called game-cars.exe) and then click on "Set affinity"
Make sure only CPU 0 is selected, then click OK
Return to the game and have fun

Remember: Do this every time you run the game, because all cores are selected by default the next time the game launches.

So i know this fixes the issues on pc, i recently had the game crashed while i was on my ps3. Idk if there's a way to fix that or not (probably a sign i should get rid of the game)

bro you helped me alot, there is a chance that the game is still running and the screen is pitch dark, any app i open i cant see, i try to close cars 2, but it wont work, i suddenly find a way, but i have a screen recorder, i can only put my mouse on the app, screen recorder.

this method is fine but there has to be a more convenient way to keep the game from crashing and keeping the cutscenes from glitching out

hey, im having so much lag when playing the game even when i use boost or kill someone its just lags like horribly bad idk why my pc is new so there is no reason for it to lag...

I Don't see game-cars.exe in details.
