The Steam version of Banana Blitz HD inexplicably uses generic controller icons supplied by Valve instead of the more appropriate ones designed for the console versions. Consequently, it clashes with the rest of the UI design. This mod forces the game to use the console version button prompts instead.

• Extract the content of the .zip file into your root installation folder.
  
• The default installation path is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SMBBBHD
  
• Overwrite the files when asked.
  
• To restore the unmodded files, verify the integrity of your game files through Steam.

The 'confirm' and 'cancel' buttons are no longer swapped in menus when playing in Japanese, Chinese or Korean with a DualShock 4 controller. The actual controller input behavior is unchanged, so this inconsistency may lead to confusion. I'll look to upload a separate version for Asian players in the future.
