The Text-Based Tutorial for Polygon Hero
By Shmook
We all remember Nazi Zombies 3D. The beloved Game Jolt game we all downloaded onto our computers. Some ruffians say the game is dated. A low field of view, constant bugs, an unfinished multiplayer. However, these are the things that guild the game to be a treasure we all remember in our hearts. To take its place in this modern day rat-race of Steam led video software we have "Polygon Hero" created by the sacred hands of Ravinia once again. The learning curve is fierce and only the strongest will survive is low polygon count descendant of a magnum opus. Therefore you need me, Shmook to teach you the dog-eat-dog world of Polygon Hero.

Basic Controls and Calibration
After typing in your desired name you must play what is called the tutorial. A gauntlet of ever challenging goals that lead to the juicy nucleus of this game.
First thing's first, the stock controls of this game. WASD for movement and mouse gestures for aiming. Pressing ESC will lead to a menu containing many tabs to explore. The first tab; CONTROLS
will lead to a litany of buttons and sliders. You may invert your movement of configure your sensitivity as desired. The next tab; BINDINGS will include all button inputs needed for this virtual experience. You can change these inputs to your taste, just note that I will be referring to the stock inputs for this guide. The third tab; GRAPHICS will help you calibrate your resolution settings and visual complexity. Note that it is best for lower end machines to use lower graphical settings. The final tab; SOUND with determine how much the drivers in your speakers vibrate. Tune the sliders to your level of desired yearly hearing loss.
If you have reached this point in the guide that you are better than most, because you have successfully conquered the ESC menu. Please continue to section two.
Complex Controls
Welcome to section two of The Text-Based Tutorial for Polygon Hero please continue where we left off in the previous section. Pressing ESC again will land you back into gameplay. After purchasing the PISTOL for 500 universal credits by holding the F key you may begin the baseline mechanic for this game; shooting zombies (you may or may not find this very reminiscent of Nazi Zombies 3D). Press the MOUSE1 input for discharge your firearm, you may hold down MOUSE2 while firing for increased accuracy. Melee attacks are also viable for dispatching zombie foes, input E to pummel any zombie you see fit for a walloping. After purchasing the rifle and neutralizing the zombies you may continue skyward, however you must be aware of your holstering ability. Pressing 2 will swap between any two weapons obtained. Please continue to section three
(THE CREATOR OF THIS GUIDE IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY VOCAL CORD DAMAGE CAUSED BY SECTION THREE)
Parkour Elements
Some ask "Why does this warren an entire section?" Well, I wish I could show you my pupil playing this pixelated Ohio simulator. She ran up and down the non-textured walls of this game for many hours. Because of that atrocity we are turning it into an entire section, section three.
When stuck betwixt two walls, one must press the SPACE key rapidly while also pressing A and D when need be. This shall continue until the desired elevation is met. Continue to section four.
Tutorial Completion
The rest of the tutorial goes as the following. Purchase chalk-drawn weapons with the F input. Barricade the populous with the TAB key followed by the MOUSE1 input. Upgradable defenses can be manifested for 500 units by holding the F input whilst looking at your now placed barricade. The automatic turret salvaged from the rubble of Voltage is a high caliber zombie annihilator, cleansing the world one shell at a time. Next you must inject unknown serum into an infected survivor by pressing the Q input. In game, healthy survivors give you more points per round. An infected survivor will manifest itself as that type of zombie it was infected by. Serum can also be used to heal yourself when health is low, but note that you only gain 2 serum per wave so you must use it wisely.
In the lower depths of this facility you learn about fall damage and sneering capitalism. Hitting the ground with too much potential energy will cause your vision to blur slightly. When ammunition runs low, you may buy ammunition from a local vending machine my pressing the F input when instructed.
After devolving more, you may find yourself in or near a hemisphere of zombies. This is where you learn about the grenade mechanic. Pressing the G input will throw a grenade in the direction you are currently looking at, exploding a short time later. The longer you hold the G input before releasing the faster the explosive will detonate when released. This concludes the tutorial.
