I love the theme from one. The atmosphere, the style, the technical accomplishments, the gameplay that still doesn't get rivalled enough...

I didn't like Max Payne 2 very much though. I don't think it's aged well, it was too short and took itself too seriously while being too poorly constructed/conceived among other things. I thought the plot was stupid too. Liked the redone theme song though.
@M, I borrowed it from a friend of mine, and even the inclusion of playable Duke Nukem didn't do it for me. My older brother felt we should just play GTA1 instead, so we did. I didn't play much of the remake, either, but I hope it's good.
