Anything that increases loot from enemies, like the mask or certain blessings or the ghost class are even better than just duplicating.
When you use the witch or duplication coins, you're still just giving away a coin to get another nickel (normally, you cast a nickel, you get a nickel after combat. If you use a duping coin to double cast nickel, you use 2 coins (one is a nickel) and get 2 nickels after combat...same with witch, use a nickel and drop a random coin, get 2 nickels).
Instead, increasing loot from enemies means you get MORE coins back than you sunk into the enemy. 20% increased loot from enemies means 20% of the time, you'll get an extra nickel back from a fight, for each one you cast
With increased loot from enemies, in no time at all, and with no additional effort (which means little to no time choosing what to cast), you'll have a flood of Vortex Nickels.
