The Model Railroader Beer Line

To celebrate the 1 year anniversary of the Beer Line Rolling Line club, we decided to do something that's been suggested for a long time: to recreate the Model Railroader Beer Line layout which they constructed in 2009. The layout was featured in a series of magazine articles documenting how the line was built, and an extension was later added which included Tews and the Snake Track, which our version has incorporated. The most interesting aspect of the original layout is its modular construction which allows it to be configured into a "O" shape, an "F", or a "J" configuration with the latter two being point-to-point operations. Ours models the "O" configuration.

To those of you who have played the A&W Root Beer Line this should look familiar. We did invest some extra love in the detailing for this version however so it is not just the brand-related images which have changed. This version also adds lighting for night scenes, 4 building interiors, a host of extra scenery details, and a few easter eggs.
