but with raw base stats, no one can survive a max roll +9 atk

Well a lucky 7 would boost you to max 10 def, which is *still* 5 dmg received.

but if you were to bring in any defence boosting cards, or a lucky 7s 7 roll, you should be fine correct?

no if maynie max rolls, thats a 15 atk, and kyoko max def roll is a 9, which is unsurvivable, 6 dmg
