Grapple Skidder

Popis
A skidder is a specialized piece of forestry equipment designed to drag felled logs out of a forest to a landing where they can be loaded onto trucks. A grapple skidder accomplishes this by grasping logs with a giant claw and picking up one end to reduce the amount of resistance. The design of these machines has changed little since the first grapple skidder was released in 1971, except for top-end machines getting bigger and more powerful.

That's a good point. I've managed to find stats on the TDT-55a cable skidder, so keep an eye out.

It's about the gameplay, actually. I know the TT-4 and love the looks, but it has efficiency of the basic truck (20). Your Grapple Skidder is more proficient than a truck, offering unique opportunity of speeding up logging efforts. I guess I could find the stats and edit it myself somehow, because 20 logging skill seems too low for specialized pricey equipment like this. :trolley:

@ComissarPigeon Soviet skidders were often tracked affairs, and more often cable skidders rather than grapple skidders. The TT-4 is fairly indicative of what would be used in Soviet logging camps, though often they would use a winch to pull the front of the logs onto the rear deck for skidding rather than carrying it on forks like the linked mod.
