Starting Situation
Picture this:

- You're an ex-competitive player in Rainbow Six Siege, who played at the top and you were more or less (in my case less) successful.


- You've put thousands of hours into the game on multiple Accounts and supported the Game since the early days.


- You've stopped playing the game for personal reasons almost entirely.
The Idea
Covid-19 hits the world and you're stuck at home.
You get the glorious idea to start playing Rainbow Six again after your break, you can't be that bad right?
The Result
You load into a friendly Ranked Match and get absolutely obliterated by some wannabe competitive stack that is made of 5 hardstuck gold noobs that quickpeek every corner and defend the bombsite through 3 floors.
The Conclusion
You quit the game after realizing ubisoft patched out every aspect of skillbased movement and made the game so casual-friendly that a 40 year old father of 3 children can destroy you in a ranked match if he knows how to throw a bunch of traps.


To answer the question from the beginning:
you can't come back to this piece of s.h.i.t. game.

Played for 5 and a half years in total (some from console), and have finally put the game down. The ranked experience in general is just quite awful, and you're better off doing R6TMs or anything of the sort. I also just got tired of solo queuing and never getting above Plat 2. I'm unhappy with the way the game has gone in the last 2-3 years (and the lack of content), so I've moved onto other games. :r6:
