WINDOWS SETTINGS
1. Enter the Control Panel.
2. In the top view, select Large or Small Icons.
3. Select Mouse from the list.
4. Select the Indicator Options tab.

In the Pointer Options tab in Motion, we set the 6th line and SELECT the Increase pointer precision option.

At the moment we have set the correct mouse speed in Windows - if we set the mouse speed higher than 6, some pixels could be avoided, e.g. the crosshair in the game would jump through some pixels.

The second thing we did was disable mouse acceleration, which is bad for FPS gameplay. It consists in the fact that the faster we move our mouse, the greater the distance with our crosshair we will make in the game - it completely destroys the muscle memory.
CS:GO SETTINGS
Reverse Axes
The option that we definitely want to have turned off - CS:GO is not a flying simulator 😛
Mouse sensitivity
This is where we adjust our mouse sensitivity. The sensitivity of the mouse should usually be in the range from 1 to 4. What value you choose depends only on you. This is due to several things.

Washer - Its size and material. As a rule, you want to turn at least 180 degrees by dragging the mouse to the edge of the mousepad from its center. As for the material, some washers have a softer material than others, so you should adjust your sensitivity accordingly. At this point, I recommend buying the largest washer possible. Don't make my mistake - once I bought a small pad without paying attention to its size when buying, then I bought a slightly larger one, because the previous one was not enough for me, but it was still too small and had a material that prevented me from sliding my whole hand over the pad. Finally, the third time I got my hands on the 50cm x 42cm HyperX FURY mousepad, which I recommend. It also has a great material that allows you to move your entire hand.

DPI - The higher the DPI, the higher the mouse speed to DPI, we will go on in the further part of the guide.

And of course you yourself, it is best for you to play on the selected sensitivity. You don't want to have too low sensitivity, because then you will be flying behind the mousepad every now and then, or you will have to lift the mouse up. If you choose the sensitivity too high, you will be imprecise. At the end of this post, you will see several ways to test your mouse sensitivity to help you choose the right one.
Zoom Sensitivity
Zoom Sensitivity is the sensitivity of the mouse when aiming with AWP or scout. Also, customize it according to your preferences. I read somewhere that the correct sensitivity is 0.85 - apparently it best reflects the sensitivity we have in other weapons. Test and see which setting suits you best.
Direct Read
Direct reading or raw input that you may have heard about before. By enabling this option, the mouse settings will be directly read from our mouse without the intervention of Windows options. It is recommended to enable this option. By setting this option you will not have to turn off acceleration in Windows settings, but I recommend that you do it, as in other games raw input may be turned off.
Mouse acceleration
This option you want to ALWAYS have turned OFF, it has a terrible effect on muscle memory, which is a key element in CS: GO. Because, as I wrote earlier, the faster you move the mouse, the larger the area of the crosshair you will travel in the game. Also below is the acceleration speed, which should be automatically disabled if the acceleration itself is disabled.
DPI, HZ SETTINGS
We go to the last part of the mouse settings in CS: GO, that is to those in the drivers.

Mouse drivers are for people with these more expensive mice. If your mouse cost PLN 50 or less, and you probably won't have a driver for it, you won't be able to choose DPI or HZ in your mouse. If, in turn, you have a mouse from, for example, Steelseries or Razer, you will have such drivers. I will show these settings on my Razer drivers, it will look similar in all other drivers.
HZ
On the screen above POLLING RATE - This affects the refresh rate of the cursor position and crosshair in CS: GO. The setting should be 500 or 1000. If you have a weaker mouse, the HZ will be 125. To be honest, there is no big difference between 500 and 1000. If you set 1000 and you have weaker hardware it may somehow affect the FPS drops. If you have better equipment, you can safely choose 1000.
DPI
Adding to the end - never try to overclock the HZ or DPI in the mouse on older mice, as it may only damage your equipment. He writes about it because many people back in CS 1.6 were inclined to do just that.
Finding tenderness
once you know how everything works, you can go to the setup test and try to find your proper value.

Turn on any map, select a point on it and move sideways, but try to keep the crosshair in the place you have chosen. It can be, for example, a projectile that you fired earlier. If you notice that you cannot keep the crosshair at this point, it means that the sensitivity of your mouse is not appropriate - then try to decrease or increase it. You can use the map from the workshop for this

Also remember that changing DPI or sensitivity in the game is related to getting used to and developing muscle memory. 2-3 days and you should get used to the new settings. Don't give up as it will pay off later.

If you've always played with high mouse sensitivity, don't set the value down immediately - it will be very difficult for you to get used to. Do it gradually - if you've been playing on the sensitivity so far, for example 5.0 set 4.5, then 4 and then even lower. This was the way I got used to, because I always played with high sensitivity. If you've been playing on fast sensitivity for a long time, you haven't lost anything - in my case, playing on high sensitivity made me a much faster player 🙂
