Alternate Biomes

描述
!!! AS OF RIGHT NOW, ALTERNATE BIOMES DOES NOT WORK PROPERLY WITH ENTANGLED WORLDS (MULTIPLAYER) !!!

This mod adds a number of vanilla-inspired biomes that occasionally replace normal biomes at the start of a new run. This mod is heavily inspired by games such as The Binding of Isaac and Risk of Rain which feature similar mechanics. This mod doesn't overwrite any game or secret sensitive structures, so you won't be locked out of anything,

Features:

16 new biomes
36 new enemies (including 1 miniboss)
...and loads of new traps and set dressing

Known issues:

The transition backgrounds between modded biomes will sometimes be misaligned or missing.
Enemies appear as "???" in progress menu even after being discovered.
Causes frequent crashes with Goki's Things

Notes:

This mod is a work in progress, but should play nicely with other biome mods such as Noitavania and Nightmare Mode (make sure Noitavania and other biome mods are placed BELOW Alt Biomes in the mod list). If you do find any compatibility issues it is not likely I will be able to fix them, though feel free to report them. You can modify the chance for a modded biome to appear in settings, 0.0 being never spawn, 1.0 being always spawn.

This mod is effectively done. Any future updates would be made to a "2.0" or "remastered" version, since this mod was made very poorly and is cumbersome to work with.

@Folio that's kinda on you for running Goki's Things, Gokith is a very unstable mod and not maintained, I would recommend trying out Copi's Things on GitHub (an in-beta successor to Goki's Things)

Hey hey, it might what's on my mod list, increased enemies from the new enemies mod, or the fact I have like 40 mods, but anytime I load a world with this mod and it generates the blast pits, I KNOW it's there before I clear the mines because my performance hits the fan. Like the performance is crazy on that section only, everything else is good, but I literally had to turn down explosion shake intensity due to it always shaking the screen when that biome is in the world.

Is the RNG chance based on the seed, or will you have different layouts of alt floors each time you run the same seed?

this is honestly one of the best mods for noita IMO, feels like actual official content in terms of quality.

any ideas for the alternate meat realm? it would be cool to have some kind of disease themed biome with lots of bodily fluids like vomit, excrement and urine, maybe the actual terrain could be made of rotting meat or something
